What did you do to your pig today?

Sorry I didn't make the Rally...500 mi. round trip didn't sound quite so appealing yesterday morning so spent most of the day in the garage. Maybe someday....any additional swine pics?

I drove my pig 120 miles round trip today towing an inclosed trailer. First major voyage. I was amazed at how refined it felt. No wandering, good power, no overheating, and towed well. Yeah the seat needs work and I need tires and disc breaks would be nice and a diesel swap would rule and a 4or5 speed... But really, it was just a nice drive. Loving my pig today!

Man, are you going to be in trouble when he turns 16!

Great picture.

Yeah! That is one serious trick he's pulling off. I bet with a ton of yoga and I could do that.... be my last ride, but a helluva last ride.

Whether it toy trucks cars and motorcycles or real trucks cars and motorcycles my little Henry can't get enough! He'll stand at the front door and point out the window and growl like an excited caveman that just figured out fire. Growling since he hasn't achieved talking yet and translates to I want a ride!

Added a tachometer

Had a Sun tach lying around the garage and decided to install it in the creamsicle yesterday. Easy install, found a suitable bracket hanging from my rafters (you should see my garage!!!) and got it snugly nestled on the dash face above the light switch- same location as the tach in my 40. Works good and was an easy hookup. Gary S

Found out why I couldn't tighten down my rear bumper bolts enough to stop it from waggling when I hit a bump...

Fixed that. Bought some 1/4"x3" plate, made it fit between bumper and rear fame. Welded it to the frame, drilled some holes and pounded the bumper back on. Added some extra bolts through the center portion where the frame was already drilled for them. Found some stress cracks in the rear frame crossmember (Ige points them out.) Welded up & ground down.

Finally pulled that downed Almond tree out of the gully and went ahead and bolted up a heat shield over the muffler. Tired of getting cooked on long road trips. the muffler sits right behind the drivers seat. I took a drip pan, folded it in half and stuffed it full of fiberglass cloth ( had a bunch sitting around). I take off on another road trip tomorrow. We'll see how she does.
