Yanked the tank. Gotta seal it back up. Rust is somehow a new problem. I also found the end cap with a screen rattling around in there. PO must have dropped it in the hole when filling it from some old 5 gallon jerry can. This may have caused my rust by that thing scratching the inside? Who knows. Gotta fix it now. I just got some POR15 and the kit.

Nice lookin' rig SuperT!

Those dam PO!

I pulled my choke cable out, straightened it, lubricated it and put it back in. Amazing how well it works. Before I could not even tell that it was indexed! I pull on that knob every day and just that one small repair can change the way a car feels. I'm sure there are a few more repairs like that I should go work on...

pulled the spare tire carrier and crossmember from the pickle for shmuckster and found that when pighead "borrowed" the fuel filler hose, he failed to put it back in and i now have wasps living in the tank. tried to get the hose back on but it appears to have shrunk. after fighting the hose and the grommet for a while, i got frustrated and moved onto the 45 so i could get frustrated with a whole 'nother cruiser.

Adjusted my parking brake one click tighter...

Put the snow plow back on getting ready for the winter.

There's already snow in Colorado's high country. I'll get enough of that in early Nov. while elk hunting up at 10,000'. So we took the Pig to Utah's desert last weekend and did the White Rim loop in Canyonlands National Park. Here's a sample...

Fixed my horns again...had a loose wire. Seems we only run into stupids when my horns don't work, should be fine tomorrow then.

Napster. How good is the frame under that 60?
There really is no way of knowing. It was hit pretty hard in the front but it was just to the outside if the frame. As you can see in the pics it shove the front shackle back. Is the frame bent? Not sure. It does not look affected but I cannot guaranty it is not. Still interested?

I only need the back half from the axle back. Do you have pictures of that?

found the problem with the front output and fixed it. The snap ring that holds the bearing in place had popped out causing the output to walk forward far enough that the collar couldn't bridge the gap and it would drop out of 4wd.

Might be able to get it ready to wheel by this weekend.
