Pulled the 33s off so she'd follow the motor home better. Moving to Idaho (Boise area for a start). Leaving in morning. Will fly back down on Sunday to drive the FJ60 up.

I patted my pig on the flank this morning on my way out the garage to work. I told her that I was sorry for neglecting her for so long; and promised that this would be the weekend to get her buttoned up and back on the road.

Over the course of the last 5 months (...I'm so slow) clutch replaced; transmission re-installed (PIA); drive shafts cleaned and painted (though not candy striped ala Pighead); parking brake sourced (thanks NikP), cleaned, and re-assembled. Now I just have to decide where a handful of left over parts go (gah!) If I can't figure it out on my own, there will be a quiz for sure.

Need to get it going so we can welcome OldBeachBob to Idaho properly.

Pulled my old 1980 minitruck power steering box and finally found one to replace it with. could not find the little seal what was leaking or I would have gone that route. These things are hard to find now. Had to order it. FLAPS and local Toyota dealer said no one in the country has one... I found one.

No, I don't like Limaritas... but when I am out of beer and that is all that is around, I'll drink anything.

Messed around on a ramp today.

Been wondering how that thing was doing. Nice you see you back!

On my ps box, I found an outfit on ebay that still rebuilds the 79-80 minitruck boxes. I did order what I thought was just the steering shaft seal, but it was not the right one. $275 later I should have a box back in it. Have to go to Brazil on Sunday so I'll be back in two weeks. Can't wait to rub up against Bandi's in Brazil....They have some sick rigs there.

I could have gone a lot higher the rear sway bar wasn't disconnected. and I didn't ask the shop for permission to us the ramp so I didn't push my lock maybe next time.
