^^^NICE!!!!! I just set my garage up this last summer with a 220 outlet so i can finally get myself a decent welder, Love lincoln welders.

I however finally pulled the engine id from my small block so i can find out what its from, apparently this SB 350 came from a 75 c-10 or 2500 pickup. Nice as i can now buy parts without worryng if im picking up what i need.

Have the engine on the hoist ready to go. A big THANKS! to Brian at TD Swaps for the adapter plate. It's a Mercedes om617 and a '90 Toyota 5spd v6 transmission. I have some grinding to do still on the frame to clean up what's left of the original motor mounts.

Took the Pig on a 200 mile roundtrip to go hunting with my daughter and a good buddy. 65-70 with a 25 mph crosswind not so fun! Worked out good for Jeff (Jebber here on Mud), awesome 10 point!

Pulled a few years of wheeling junk out of the back and reprinted the interior.

Most of the weekend was rewiring the LV. Didn't fuss with the carb on the SWB. too cold in the home garage.

Too many cruisers. Wife says I have to get rid of at least one before I buy a 1951 GMC COE on CL. How unfair is that?

get a new wife ;)....don't tell her i said that. ;)
greg said he'd give up his man spot in the garage if i brought home a 1963 fj40 bone stock with all the unobtanium parts:bounce::bounce2:

after xmas, i may be bringing home a new cruiser :)

just plugged my dead phone in to find a text saying my vehicle is registered for the st patty's day parade for the colo assoc of 4wd clubs. now, the person in the association who registered me is anti pig and specifically said "your vehicle, not a pig"...so, pighead and i need to figure out a nice st pattys day costume for a pig:D afterall, the led's in twrecks have green, so it will be festive.

oh, an work on a lengthy pogues soundtrack. ;)

found that a 60-62 series front door weatherstrip is almost a direct swap-either a bit of glue or drill a few 3/16" holes for the 60s factory plastic clip pins for the bottom plane of the door, cut a foot out of the bottom of the ring, and glue the ends together;. SOR has A/M 60-62 series door side weatherstrip for 35 bucks pre discount...the 55s are 55 bones. Haven't had a chance to go into great detail over the rear doors-I think they seal at a different point-but they may work as well. I am trying to source some 60 series grey door opening edge welt w/o runner bulb on it(ala SORs offering for 55 body side seals). The door closes much better now and the seal appears to be good. Also re worked my 60 series window felt swap...using the stock 55 felt backing rib to transfer clip hole pattern onto 60 series rubber, drilling the replacement felts, and install original 55 felt clips. trim new felt to length( I ended up square cutting the felts even w/ the length of the window ledge-will use seam sealer or poly sealer in black to match rubber to lay a bead at the leading and trailing edge of the window run frame/door interface) clip felt to door lip. I am using drivers outer 60-62 replacement felt for inner and outer position on both front door(backs will work the same, but I don't have back doors...) now I got to take apart my dash to remove, repair, and replace the W/W pivots, and make them stop leaking, and find my defrost duct fittings and hose...

Lambcrusher,

Good Job!, I'm not at that point yet, but trying file all this information until I get there.

Thanks, Ron

I have come to recognize the similarities in the designs between the wagons V2.x and V3.x, and have come to default to the 60-2s anytime I come to unobtainium pig parts. there are many differences, but there are also many similarities. also the 60-2 parts are cheaper anytime there is a choice between 55 and 60-2 stuff.

spent the morning staring at the three little piggies while i worked on the golf ball, then everything turned to caca so i salvaged it by installing my new rear view mirror riding logo :)

Small block 400 with a 700r4 tranny. It will run 95 but I didn't stay there long!
