Wow very nice!

So the magnets line up with the screws to hold it up?

Can't wait to see the rest of the interior.

Thank you! Yes, the rare earth magnets line up with the button head screws that hold the Starboard panel to the rear door. I used the OEM mounting holes for the cover, just enlarged them and installed M6 riv-nuts and then the button heads.

Man, that is nice Ben.

:hmm:

I see a nice little side project for you.

;)

Thanks Onur! I made templates so can make a few more pretty easily. Will need to figure out my time and materials costs but I am really happy with how these turned out!

Any shots of the drawers or details

Drawers are a work in progress. I got started on them months ago with the aim to prove to myself that I could build a nice big drawer without using the heavy duty locking slides. You can do it, but it's not near as nice :( So I put it on hold for awhile and actually brought the 74 back into the shop to do the rear door table since we are building a storage solution for a Troopy and he asked for a drop down table.

I really like the Deutsch connectors too.
Your switchplate is great! Aluminum?

Picked up the sample run of Cruiser Brothers window stickers for our friends.

Katherine, Cassie and Wade at Wicked Wraps did these for us, along with door wraps. Good crew in Mukilteo for vehicle graphics if you are in the Seattle area. :)

3D printed 'strong flexible plastic' (nylon I think?) from Shapeways

I'm a big fan of deutsch connectors, I've basically standardised myself and the 8 buddies I go 4wding with into using Deutsch DT for most stuff and DTM for small stuff. I'd encourage everyone to spend say, $250 to buy a DT and DTM kit with crimper (go for the solid pins, not the stamped pins). You'll never go back and the first time you DON'T break down on the side of the road because of a dodgy electrical connection, it has paid for itself. I had one mate with a supercharged 3800 buick (holden) v6 converted toyota minitruck (hilux) which used to have one electrical fire every single 4wding trip.

Onur "Beno" and I have been working on this project for a bit.

I think it came out kick ass!

All OEM

What do you guys think?

That is sweet! I wonder if it would fit a 45......:hmm:

Anyway, today I finished replacing my passenger seat with one that folds down. The idea is that I am going to build a sleeping platform at the same height for those weekend outings. The seat is the rear passenger seat from a RAV4. There 's more info if you click on the link in my signature.

After the seat cover is on, it's hard to tell the difference.
