I'd vote mk19 myself :pig:

Damn. That's a pretty epic company car.

Stay safe bro.

I wish this was our crew truck, it's a hosts country police truck. We have a 4-door Ranger. Nice truck I must say, but I get feelin some sorta way with the dudes Rollin in troopies. A lot of them running around.

also, thank you. Keep your thoughts for the guys in Iraq, Kurdistan and Syria. They need it more than I do.

Speaking of which does anyone know of a source for the large 70 mirrors that have the pivot like a late model 60? The ones I've been able to find are this style

Which when they get knocked will lose their setting.

I have some 60 mirrors on my 4runner, these are fantastic. when branches and so on hit them they just fold in but because the mirror moves independently to the housing you push them back to the detent and they're exactly how you set them.

I've tried fitting the 60 mirrors to the 73 but the door panels are at different angles so they look silly and don't adjust quite far enough.

I've seen pictures of JDM 70s with factory 60 style mirrors so they do exist, I just haven't been able to find a source.

I'm still trying to get accustomed to these. I forget they are there. :)

Nice see-ment pond you got there......:hillbilly:
That is my wife's pool .... If it were up to me you would only see topsoil and green grass. That stupid thing eats into my Cruiser fund on a monthly basis.

Drop a line sir. I can get them for you and I do ship internationally.

Hello Dare,

This may be too late as Beno has replied.
If it's of use to you, i replaced the mirrors on my 75 Troopie last year, and here are the factory numbers: 87910-60142 (right side), 87940-60372 (left).

G'day to the international brotherhood of 70 series
Wasn't aware there was post 40~45~60 following in the U.S. As I mostly lurk in the 45 owners section, but I see you guys are doing a fine job of keeping them alive
My new addition, hzj75 first job pulled and swapped 15x7 wheels for some 16" splits with Dunlop roadtrak majors for a paddock Cruze, next job registration with modern tyres obviously haha
