Took the afternoon off to take advantage of a 20-inch powder day. Local hill closed two weeks ago as 'summer' seemed to be here early. Feels like winter again this week.

What is that you are boarding/skiing on? Looks like a snowboard sawn down the middle with extra bindings and latches to put it back together again???? Beautiful country there!

Split board. Split it in two and put skins on to go uphill, put it together, flip the bindings to go down hill.

Pretty slick. Way more efficient than snowshoeing and packing your board.

Painful fill-up this a.m. Been riding my bike to work the last few weeks, but two trips up to snowboard and another planned today, I had to break down and stop at the gas station for the first time in a month...ouch.

Everything goes up when that price goes up. 1lb propane bottles for my trip to relic run last week were $8 each. Select 2X4 stud at lowes are $9 each. Prices will go down when either more oil is getting produced or everyone just decides to stop buying things and spending money on anything unnecessary because it's all too expensive....Recession.

Hanna Montana Barbie and Larry D. made the photo feed. Larry is trying to determine where he lost the nut that held his shock in place.

Sport took virtually the same Barbie picture during the line up.

FYI The missing nut was a 1/2 with a 20 thread pitch. I ran a thread chase down the stud and put on a new nut. I even added a lock for some insurance against a repeat. Seems good to go. Thank you for your aid. Please pass along my thanks to the rest of your crew for their help and patience on the trail

Oh my!

I'm thinking impure thoughts about now.

You could pop that oddball moulding of the doors if you like. :grinpimp:

If TMC asked for my input on THE next Land Cruiser for the US market (which they won't), I would suggest a 73/4 with a 1VD-FTV. I'd buy one so fast it would make your head spin.

Even overlooking all of its other attributes, the exhaust note alone of the 1VD-FTV would make it desirable. 😊

One of the reasons to get one on my list .. surely not all exhaust sounds the same but in neither ( but stuck one ) you can deny the presence of the V8 .. much more if you are extracting a little bit of juice from it ..

There are a lot of turbo diesel engines here in the USA to choose from. The appeal of the 1VD-FTV is more because it is made by Toyota and we can't have it here legally.

That being said....a 73/74 with that 1VD-FTV would be awesome.
