Met up with some other Cruiser guys and rode through approximately 25 miles of plantation rodes.

I replaced the rear wiper blade on the 77 with a replacement I got awhile ago.

I was wondering why the new one was all covered up with rubber but the great parts guru @Onur told me that it is a cold spec blade for where there is snow. I guess I am prepared in case there is a freak snow storm in South Texas!

New one on the left and old one on the right.

What are the correct wiper blade lengths anyhow?

I drove over the Blue Ridge (not saying much) and into the Allegheny mts. Temp was around 75F.
Forest roads with some giant mud puddles along with caravans of Jeep drivers. I let a troop of Range Rovers get by; one lonely 100 series bringing up the rear.

Was able to spend some time up in TN near and GA.....beautiful weekend for camping. Only one moderately challenging trail...most of it was just cruising around on forest roads. I think we were on part of the Trans American Trail.....but I was following...so just kind of on auto pilot. Kind of nice.

Some nice water crossings....met up with a local that gave us some directions to a pretty cool power line trail that was rather complicated with a big gully down the center....went from red clay to rock to shale to boulders. Kind of interesting. Only red clay I remember seeing.

Looks like fun and nice rig. I want to start exploring the Carolinas and "truck camping" with my 73. Still getting it straight and ready.

I tried some window chip/crack repair....worked ok on the small ones. the glue just couldn't get down the whole length of my longer windshield crack

This weekend marked the completion of all my hub work - including rebuilding the front knuckles. With the rear wheels off, I was finally able to install my new old-stock Toyota mudguards. They were tricky to source - about 6 months ago the parts broker in Japan was getting ready to send me only the passenger side (I politely told them I'll wait until they have both).

When I bought the truck, it was missing the most rearward portion of the fender flares... Hence the reason why I opted for this style of mudguard. Any ideas on what to do with the space in-between?
