I would use some 120g sandpaper or a wire wheel. Then some rust converter with a primer in it. Another light sand, then primer and top coat. A 2 part top coat (even if brushed on, being under the tray) is the most impervious to acids etc, although thousands of cars have single pack.

    The correct brushbar ..... :)
The current one will be added to the "used parts" inventory.

To my knowledge it will fit all of the earlier 70 Series. It's identical to one that's on a BJ71 that's currently in the shop.

What was wrong with the "incorrect" brushbar?

    It was incorrect. :)

Sorry, I couldn't resist. The current brushbar is for a "narrow nose" Cruiser and didn't fit properly.

Put in a stereo, which surprisingly wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be! But now I know that my speakers are blown. :(

Installed a new washer bottle. Old one looked like it was going to turn to dust if I touched it...

Also got a new battery hold-down bracket to replace the makeshift one that was on it when I got it.

image.jpeg Onur, I realize there is a little bit of age difference between your BJ70 and the 77 Series in the photo but I was wondering about the paint codes. Do they represent the "two whites" that were offered on the 70 Series?
    Thanks

    Cooling Hoses.

Most of these molded/shaped cooling hoses are no longer available. What is everyone doing for replacing some of these strange shaped ones? I really don't want to have it look terrible with misshapen hoses all over the place, but I really don't trust any of the original hoses. Some of them will be pretty easy to use standard hose on, but these 3 are all sorts of weird shaped.
