I wanted to tap into the wealth of knowledge about,,, well about everything here. I was planning on running a set of LED headlights and maybe a LED modules for turn signals on the front bib much like, once again, Icon. And then I saw these and was like "these can do it all, halo for daytime running lamps and turn signal!". Would it be DOT legal to just run these and nothing else, or do I need a amber light source outside of the headlight? The truck is a 1974 on the title.

Back on the lift for some more work. I asked for a side shot to get an idea for scale, the extra 10" doesn't seem like much now....
 
Naw, but I will get it powder coated and spray the inside of the frame rails with Eastwood or Chassis Saver. I would like to get it galvanized so the inside of the frame rails is protected but I'm running out of dough for stuff like that ;)

Typically galvanizing is cheaper than powder coating. Usually around 300 bucks to have a frame galvanized. Fyi

Any updates on this one? Was just drooling over the '77 resto earlier today. Hoping to start on my '77 after this summer.
 
Where's the finish pic? would love to see an update too.
