Nice quality work. Axles are pretty cool. Looks like you are basically making a icon except with a few minor differences-ie ford 9" vs Dana 60, control arm mounted coil overs vs axle mounted etc. Is your goal to basically build a icon? Ive heard the wait time for icon to fill a order is pretty long.

I wanted to tap into the wealth of knowledge about,,, well about everything here. I was planning on running a set of LED headlights and maybe a LED modules for turn signals on the front bib much like, once again, Icon. And then I saw these and was like "these can do it all, halo for daytime running lamps and turn signal!". Would it be DOT legal to just run these and nothing else, or do I need a amber light source outside of the headlight? The truck is a 1974 on the title.

I think you have to have at least an illuminated light/reflector in amber on the front.

You think you will galvanize the chassis?

Naw, but I will get it powder coated and spray the inside of the frame rails with Eastwood or Chassis Saver. I would like to get it galvanized so the inside of the frame rails is protected but I'm running out of dough for stuff like that

Typically galvanizing is cheaper than powder coating. Usually around 300 bucks to have a frame galvanized. Fyi
