Here are some more shots of the fabrication. The Saginaw steering brackets needs quite a bit alteration to put the correct spacers in and sleeve the holes through the frame for the bottom bolts, came out very nice and should be sound and secure now.

Here is the new PSC steering box installed with the correct spacers and such...

Also a couple of shots of the steering linkage and the cool column bracket fabbed by Don.

Another thing Don did for me was modify a stock bib hinge for this build. The Aqualu frame unfortunately does not work with a stock bib hinge, but I still wanted to incorporate the hinge somehow.

I really like the little touches like that Toyota engineers came up with to make a Land Cruiser a Land Cruiser.

All in all, kudus to Georg and Don for all their work so far!

The rig is looking great Don! This will be an awesome ride. I really like the work that Georg & Don do. I'm thinking that when I get more Cruiser bucks in the bank I'll send mine up to have them "make 'er right".

Your welcome, happy to give back to the Cruiser Community in anyway I can! Looking forward to seeing this project come together. If it's half as nice as your other one, it'll be a thing of beauty.

Thanks guys, got some 4plus bumpers coming from our own Lcwizard in the next couple weeks which is very exciting! I talked to Dave "Lcwizard" and could not of hoped to talk to a cooler guy!

Dave will be altering his rear tire carrier slightly for me to hold a single jerry can as well as a cooler basket.

Dave if you think of it, post a couple photos of my bumpers under construction if you have a mind to.

Sorry, They're already off the jigs and on on the pallet. Georg won't be back to receive them until next week so they can't ship til next week

Liking this build too!!!!! Icon better watch out.............SSCR, do you still have the gorgeous mustard '77?

Some major changes going on with this build. It's gonna be even better than originally planned!!!

I'll let Don elaborate.

:-)

Thanks Georg, yeah decided to go with coil-overs, linked suspension and custom axles by Ruff Stuff. The axles have to be welded on and I didn't want to mar the beautiful powder coated ones Georg built for me.

Wife is going to kill me ;)

Awesome choice with Ruff Stuff. I was drooling over their booth at King of the Hammers a couple weeks ago. I don't think you can go wrong with their products

Very nice ... Keep
It coming
