Thanks Georg, yeah decided to go with coil-overs, linked suspension and custom axles by Ruff Stuff. The axles have to be welded on and I didn't want to mar the beautiful powder coated ones Georg built for me.

Wife is going to kill me ;)

Don't worry, this fantastic build is worth being killed for !!

i have to say this build i pretty close to what i am in the process of planning. what axles from ruffstuff are you using? keep up the good work i'm excited to see the end result.

The Aqualu frame unfortunately does not work with a stock bib hinge, but I still wanted to incorporate the hinge somehow.

Hmm. I have an Aqualu bib for my 1981 FJ40. Didn't realize there was a known issue with the Bib Hinge. Could this be why I am having fitment issues with front fenders, etc?

The bib hinge issues were from using the Aqualu frame.

I went with Spidertrax axles.

Wife hasn't killed me yet;) I also just had Jason from Trail-Tailor build my bumpers and roof rack that will be fixed directly to the roll cage. Updates will be coming eventually.....

Ordered and received all the interior, tuffy center counsel, bows, wheels, custom engine harness, brakes/rotors/hats, and a bunch of other stuff.

SSCR looking good my friend! I learned SO much from your '77 rebuild and this one is looking every bit as interesting but in a different way.

Another exciting build from Don- I have dealt with Georg too for parts, what a team!!!! Can't wait to see more of this creation.

My buddy Don

He's an absolute savage fabricator.
