That's what I found in my '64 :bang: Good news is that everything else is stock.

Pardion has an F135 for me, but I don't think he can fit it into the small box of stuff he is sending me.

Soooo, until I can get around to getting an engine up here, I am thinking of changing the cover just to make me feel better when I open the hood  ...so will it fit/work?

Thanks JP, I'm hoping that it will...BTW, did you get my e-mail on that '63 you are looking at bringing back east? PM me if you didn't.

Anyone try swapping valve covers like this?

if it's simply to make yourself feel better why not just get a 135 sticker from Shane and be done with it;)

Because it doesn't have the "ribs" of the 135 :crybaby:

Besides...I already thought of it, and I'm buying a couple of stickers from Shane just in case one fits...or I find a logical way to get an engine up here I'll be ready with a new sticker :p

Those are great, but I was hoping to open an e-mail with the hi-res versions...so I can really zoom in to all the details...that is one nice-n-clean rig:cheers:

Now that sucks.

Now that you mention it :bang: I should have seen that.

Anyone up here need to get rid of their 135 to make space for a new 2F? Who am I kidding, wrong section :D

You think that would work? Could use a funnel you know...to fill it:hhmm:

But what about the bolts, and gasket...will they work?

Look at Shane's stickers on this cover...wouldn't those ribs please anyone

I have a ton of covers, No F135 covers like above., But a mess of ones that have Toyota stamped in them.

Shipping is $35 due to box size, but they are free if anyone wants one. Not mint but nice and powder coated with a decal of your choice of 145 or 155

The F135 are $20 shipped for the decal if one wants.

We put an F135 valve cover on LCJ's 2F in his LV shortly after we put it on the road. We got some 8mm unions and made short extensions so the studs would reach thru the higher cover of the 135.

And yes, he uses a very small funnel to top up his oil. ;)

Pull the valve cover when a full oil change is required.

I don't want to sound cheap or anything, but if anyone has a 135 valve cover, and a 155 valve cover that they want to get rid of, I'll pay for the shipping to get it up here. You see...I want to cut out the oil filler on the 155 cover and add it to the one 135 cover, so that I can try to pop it on the 155 currently in my '64...unless someone can figure out an easy way to ship a whole F135 my way, then I'll take the whole engine...problem is that shipping is too expenisve...which sucks because someone already offered me a 135...and all I have to do is drive across this continent to pick it up :crybaby:
