Valentine's Day Trail Ride 2022 - Feb 12th and Feb 19th

For some reason I thought you had posted somehwere about meeting at the school around 8, must've been something else. But I fixed it by having the link for your thread for those that are interested and newer to CLCC without knowing about BBRC.

It's getting close to Valentine's Day again so who is in for a Flagpole trail ride in Feb? In years past we usually do it around V-day so pick which weekend works best for you and we will go with that.

We've stayed at a motel that's nearby in years past, so if you want to stay out that way the hotel is: The Village Inn
The place offers a nice breakfast in the mornings and not far from Turner Ashby High school to meetup for the trail ride.

Trail ride: Switzer Dam > Flagpole > Union Springs
We would go from Turner Ashby school and head towards Switzer Dam - Flag Pole - Union Springs.

Post up if you're interested, it's been a while since I've been on any sort of trail and definitely plan on being there for this one.

@bkfj40 How are the trails out there? Still snow on the ground or did warm weather move in and clear em up?

edit: found some trail reports from a few days ago these are also on the thread for @matzell / BBRC group. It was still was super snowy up there on the 6th!

Yup. SV4W were up there last weekend and the pictures showed lots of snow. I'm sure nice and muddy with the weather for the next 2 days.?

@Diff Kraken - most of snow is gone. There are a few spots in the trees that still have snow. Shenvalley 4wheelers said that only the drifts were remaining last weekend. I would anticipate some slick, icy spots, but most of it will be muddy.

Well, after procrastinating at work for 30 minutes and reading through your "its awfully quiet in here, what are y'all doing" posts (and making lots of witty / snarky comments that really crack myself up) I can safely say I did not zooch your LX out from under you. Mine is a 2015, black interior, bought at CarMax.

So that excuse for you not getting a 200 is gone.

I had a contractor leave my eaves and soffets on part of the house undone once. Then said he couldn’t come back for quite a while. I put a radio in the attic to deter critters from entering before I was able to seal it off myself. We have tons of raccoons, possums, squirrels, etc but I never saw a sign of them having entered…or at least deciding to stay awhile.
