I am looking for a used window motor from an 80 series. Doesn't have to be in good condition, I need it for testing purposes. Even if it barely works that is fine by me.
Looking for one in this orientation only:

You trying to retro this for your 62?

@Deathvalleypaul you have one of these?
I am! Damn 62's have too many electrics that are getting old and are not available new. I have an idea and I want to test it out. I think I have a small addiction to hunting for alternatives to discontinued 60 parts.:wacky:

there a LH door & RH door set

if U are working a RR window I can explain further how to etc..
Thank you for the offer! At this point getting something used would be better as a tester as I have no idea if the 80 motor will in fact work in the FJ62. It's good to know you have new motors though for the 80 if it does work out in the end!

@ATXFJ80 & @Deathvalleypaul both part 80's . They might be the one to reach out to.

Could also try Torfab might have something sitting on a shelf.

the real kicker is neither of these motors are 80's .....of even landcruiser's

one is a jap camry , other is a usa produced avalon

I am not sure if U know the whole scoop on nippondenso starters for example :

with a few minor mounting hardware adjustments , elec connections , and a few minutes with a jewelers file , U can install a certain Part # late model year FJ gear reduction starter on a 1956 -1987 FJ F / 2F , it can even install on a 62 3Fe , but cost the same for its part# and no time spent adapting

PM me now if u want , i can take a call , working in shop now ..

i will explain Why & how one or both of these power window motors will absolutely meet your needs , test , install , 60 series , 80 series etc......

these can be the same ripe apples in about 15 minutes or less , .......and can be a RH or LH / opposite of what they are plug and play now in under 10 min ............

Hi Matt,
That is a very generous offer! I'm not sure that will be necessary though. I'll PM you and we can talk about this. :) thank you for the help.

Just replaced the DS front on my 96 80. Old motor had intermittent failure. Worked most the time unless it was raining, snowing or cold as hell. Really anytime I didn't want the window to stay down. Yours for the ride.
