Damn, that is one sexy looking rear end! Very nice fit and finish, well done!
Always like to see the final product. Is the receiver integral to the bumper, or is it attached to the
rear cross member?

It is mounted to the rear crossmember with 2-10mm bolts on bottom and 4-5/8" G8 bolts at rear. The same 4 rear bolts to mount the bumper as well as 6 additional M10 bolts

I'm interested to know if the spare tire mount adjusts laterally. I'd like to run a 35-37" spare tire and have it adjusted as close to the smaller, left side door w/o obstructing it.

And I wouldn't mind seeing a "stop" on the tire carrier, in it's closed position, that could help minimize damage to the door, should I be rear ended or back up into a tree. =)

The tire carrier adjusts up & down as well as in & out but there isn't a left to right provision. I'll look into that more.

I'll grab some shots of the bump stops.

Nice, thanks. I've been running into a lot of LED's that lack voltage regulation.
Yup a lot of people think all LED's are multivolt but they are not. They need added diodes that most manufacturers in North America dont add because of little demand and added cost
Ive been through it several times with trailer lights and trying to find round 24v LED brake and signal lights for my rear bumper. If you look back at Kurts original prototype bumper from the first post it had round lights as well but I believe he ran into the same problem.
I ended up sourcing the exact same 10-30 multivolt LED lights as the revised Expedition One and the kaymar. They are really good quality sealed units with great output and because they have the same individual signal and brake light configuration as our Cruisers, no logic circut is required

Project Short Stripe (BJ71) is nearly all finished up, just in time for Cruise Moab next week. It's getting aligned and then we'll spend a few more hours putting the finishing touches on it.

Looks like a new set of 42601-60262-03 rims too. :)

Yup, we move a fair bit of them and often use them on customer/project builds. I've got another set here waiting to go on my HJ61

That is one very sharp looking Cruiser.

That is one very sharp looking Cruiser.

It's a hoot to drive. The short wheelbase, peppy motor and 5 speed allow one to really rip around. It's a go-kart

Glamour shots
