Love the look of these, and the fact it can be integrated into the turn signal.

LED headlights are now in stock.
As mentioned, the new version has DOT marking, and DRL. It has an aluminium colored housing, so the appearance is closer to a regular sealed beam light. For those who care, the protrusion is reduced, as can be seen in the photo.
Let's talk some tech. To hook it up, there are 3 connections:
1) The headlamp connection is simply plugging in the standard H4 plug
2) For the DRL, you tap the red wire into an ACC source. The VSV is a convenient source, as it's right under the hood. However, you can feed the red wire into the fuse box if you like. I supply you with the 3 input connector to save you a trip to the hardware store.
4) For making the DRL blink in concert with the turn signals, feed the yellow wires into the turn signal wires on both sides. The turn signal wire is green/black on the left side, and green/yellow on the right side.

Yes I believe so.

I think the only problem would be if someone like me from a minority drive-on-the-left country decided to order and fit them.

My issue is that like Tom, I drive on the left (right ;)) side of the road..

If you make a floormat (and you find a way for it to have the Toyota logo) I'm a buyer (as long as it's not ridiculously priced!)

Well I did my part. Opened up the hermetically sealed vault and pulled this little gem out today.

Just waiting to hear from @andybudge

Comes up as: COVER, WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AUTO STOP SWITCH

1969-1976.

there were two versions of that cover.. one with screw holes and one that just clipped on. SOR had replacement ones about two years ago but they were a part of a kit that came with the paper/rubber gaskets for the entire assembly and the kit was over $100. These things are certainly unobtainium

The only version I remember seeing back in the 1990's when there were still some on wiper motors, was a yellowed, milky plastic that didn't age well. The same piece made of high quality rubber (like the floor shift boots) could last almost forever.

Back in the late 80's SOR had them available. There is still one on my brothers 72. Seems to have held up well.

I need this gasket that goes on the bittom of a 76 air cleaner. I also need the top cover gasket for the stock air cleaner thats bigger than the one shown in the picture. I can send this gasket to you as a master. Its still in fair condition but would like to have a new one. Both in er gaskets for the air cleaner are not available. The only gasket that beno can get is the one between the carb and stock air cleaner. Pm me if you are interested and i will ship this one in the pic to you.

As long as we're talking about cutouts...Does anyone think these 3 notches should not be pre-cut?
There's always a trade-off between having something that's plug and play vs. something that can be customized to fit different needs. I believe these notches will fit '74 to '78, but I'm not sure about the earlier years.

I would be in for the cutouts for my 76

Confirmed today - newer plug style still mates to older plug - and the lights worked properly, so I got the correct lights, so I believe that OEM is still available for 73-76.

Anybody know what changes in the various date ranges? Looks like there were different part numbers for 73-76,
76-79 (driver's side discontinued) and 79-84 (all discontinued)

Just different plugs?
Here are some photos of the '79-'84 plug. Now that you say it's discontinued I have to carry it in the store
