Thank you! Finances are not good for us at this time (medical bills), but somehow I'm going to have to fund an order. The drain tubes in my 40 are non-existent, as in totally rotted away, and I'm concerned about how long my temporary fix will hold.

If so, it's still available from Toyota....Just put a new one on my '77 overflow bottle.

Well, heck...I've checked every LC vendor...never thought about checking Toyota as the vendors usually sell OEM parts with jacked-up prices. Exactly what I need for my 77. Thanks!

Check out the mud oem dealers. beno, cruiserdan, Southside toyota. with the discounts that they give to mud members prices are reasonable.

I've been ordering my parts from them for years...but this cap is a $6 part and I feel like more of a bother at that price-point. It's weird that, with the part number, I can find them all day long...but with a description, only 1978+ show up.

When I looked up this part no. it says it's for a FJ55 or BJ40 in some markets. Does your truck have the original jar? Can you show a pic of it with the cap on?

Yep, OEM overflow bottle/reserve tank and new cap.

You're going to take all my money?
Just saw this. LOL! I'm coming to get you in September :hillbilly:! Dual diaphragm brake booster is officially entering production. You will never miss the whooshing sound of a Centric rebuild again!

That is AWESOME news! You just keep the good news coming...thanks! Will this be just like the original?
:clap::clap:

Dare I say it's better than the original? It uses the more modern AISIN spec 44610-60050, replacing the old Bendix version with the same part number. Pedal feel is like a modern car. Booster diameter, stud pattern, rod lengths are all identical to the original, but it's not quite as thick -- because with current design, it can deliver better performance without needing to be so gigantic. As a result, it's lighter, easier to install, and gives you more access space in that part of the engine bay, and of course it does not block the clutch MC bolt like the mini-truck or FJ60 boosters do. You can take either the booster or the clutch MC out without touching the other part.

As with all of your other products, I am sure it's better than original. What with today's advanced materials and technologies...and your attention to detail, I am sure you out-did Toyota's engineers!
Thank you for all the projects you take on for our obsessions...you know us addicts need a steady dose of NEW unobtainium parts!!

Kudos Racer!!

GEEEEE, THANKS.....another frigging item I can add to my Christmas list. :steer:

Well done, my friend, well done! Keep 'em coming.

That's a nice surprise. Any cost estimates at this time? (and thanks for what you do)

MUD price will be $250 shipped, and that includes the check valve.
Just to clarify, this is coming in late September-ish time frame.

In on the booster
