How about for a JDM truck....will it mount?

Have you found any mount for the extinguisher you like better. I have been considering the drake one but didn't know if it would push the extinguisher out onto the foot space too much.

I like the Drake mount a lot but it does push the F.E. Out by another 1.5"

I have one here. Later tonight I'll take a pic of it all together.

I have to say as far as mounts go... Simpler is better.... I have a drake style Rennline FE holder for my porsches extinguisher in the passenger side footwell. I have practiced FE retrieval extensively incase I ever have to get it quickly possibly while pinned in the seat and that style mount kinda sucks... It can be a PITA to get to fully release if the FE has jarred a bit.

The basic strap mount I have in my LC will come free every time easily.... It doesn't look as good but it works better.

no not plastic, metal straps with release toggles like this.

Nice thing about these types is they spring out of the way when released.

^ so that is what comes with the H3R Halon F.E.s and its the one that Scottryana was saying is an issue and the one I had issue with because the claps are ridiculously easy to accidentally open unless they were pointed down. But because of the gauge you can't reverse it.

H3R has quick mounts too Joey if you are interested.

You know I was just busting your balls. Glad you tested it out, I am sure you will dial it in to perfection before it is released. I will take a passenger for sure.

No its all good. I was testing with another F.E. I wouldn't have know if you didn't say something.

Here is the other ones by H3R. I like this design, I will order one up to test:

Haha yea the latch is easy to trip.. Guess I've never had an issue with mine because, again, its in the passenger footwell Hhaaha :flipoff2::flipoff2:

I like it. It's much better than the bracket I have tek'd to the passenger footwell (never had an issue with kicking it).

I'd be up for a version that picks up the rear mount points for the centre console, so it sits in the middle-back passenger footwell. Low profile would be even better, so it fits under my little compressor fridge. Pls ignore the rubbish prototype fridge mount.

I'm assuming these will work with those of us with "poverty pack" manual AND cloth seats?

A little birdy has mentioned something about a 2nd row mount. But not soon.

Assume makes an ass out of u and me :flipoff2:

I'm trying verify that. @ewillis is relatively close to me so I can test in his truck.

You people with your leather. Leather is for shopping malls. :princess:

And those that are strong with the pimpness

Well, in fairness the leather is less likely to make the pink panties ride up...

Ok so.... I'm not worried about misfire since its an inert gas, but I am concerned about anything falling into the wide mouth nozzle and possibly clogging it. Very bad....

I'm sure you know @NLXTACY , but I'll point out that while it may be inert, Halon works by displacing oxygen....so you don't want to be in a closed compartment (like a closed car interior) with it where it can build to concentration and you can't get the oxygen anymore

I'd work to avoid the discharge potential
