i like to ramble.

sad when you drive a 78 fj40 because it gets better mpg and is quicker than your regular ride...

No excuses...:p

Also, what's the stock differential gear ratio? That Hundy looked like it was crawling. The FJC is 3.73 for A/T and 3.90 for M/T. I'd bet the LC is a higher ratio (4.10?)

There's no need to get out the math books. The only reason anyone does this is for Good-Ole-Boy braggin' rights. There's plenty of hundys getting pulled all over youtube too. no one cares...except when they lose.

that 100 weighs a whole lot more. That's really all that matters.

If Boombap was pulling me across a grass field I'd be going down swinging and slinging dirt ... until I blew my rear diff. :hillbilly:

I got challenged to a tug-o-war with a Rubicon at GSMTR about 3 or 4 years ago. I was in the Pig. I figured the Rubicon had a better crawl ratio than I did but I had more meat on the ground. It would have been epic (maybe) if the Rubicon owner would have showed up on time! (he might be watching...) I gave up and had a  by the time he showed up and I don't wheel after even 1. :frown:

so a guy i work with told me about a fj55 in someones yard in btw easley and gville. Off of norman dr in the saluda dam rd area. Anyone have any insight on this?? Rd and white.

I think he's the same guy that bought my old 2f. The engine is shot in his 55 and he wanted to get it running again, guess the project still isn't any closer to being done.

according to my guy that house has changed hands within the last yr or so but the cruiser is still there????

I've heard about it. Spoke with a guy several years ago that said he knew about it. That's all I ever heard.

Is the Pig sitting under, near a powerline? Green IIRC?

i dunno where it sits but was told it was at a old farmhouse. It is red and white though not green. May ride and and look for it this weekend if i have time.
