For now I'm just going to clean it up and convert it back to pintle hook. Just have to cut the welded ball mount off.
Plan to use it camping/hunting/general yard duty. Also, hauling spare parts and gear to gsmtr. Also, plan to haul gear to black balsam this year. Not going to do anything fancy.

@Teddy read my build thread (in my sig) for basic cleanup and sources for parts.
If you keep your gear in it, make sure everything is in Pelican cases, because even if covered with a tarp it will develop moisture inside.

Yeah Rick, I read it. I've seen it in person and it's super nice. I'm not planning anything fancy with this one any time soon. Just a basic clean up. I actually got a little work done tonight.
Got the jerry rigged 2 inch ball hitch off, whoever welded it on was good. Took 5 cutting wheels on my angle grinder, a chisel, and a 5 pound hammer.
Then I ground all the weld off and smoothed it out. Hit it with a little Rustoleum for the time being.
Then I got my man a fre hitch swapped out for a pintle.

Done! Ride is scary as hell though. Got a steering stabilizer coming in tomorrow.
No steering stabilizer is shot. Looks like the one from the factory. Possibly the original. On another note I managed to strip the wheel studs. Had to have it towed home. Marshall can help me in about a weeks time however I have been reading up on how to replace them myself. Wondering/comtemplating giving this a try.

Anybody watch My Classic Car this weekend? They toured a private collection of historic Toyota vehicles dating all the way back to the Toyopet.
Found a public photo gallery on FB that shows a lot of good stuff. The Amaro Family has been collecting Toyotas for over 20 years in Puerto Rico.
