Holy Schnikies! Just got a quote on a 400' 4 rail fence and 3 gates for $7300!!!! Looks like I'm building a fence.

Black coated chain link was about half the price.

I can buy all the parts I need for a 2 rail split rail for $1500 except the wire mesh so all parts should be doable for $2k or less. Now to price out a 4 board.

Crazy on the outlets and glad the inspector did do his job, there is one that works at lowes and does inspections also...well he proceeds to tell me that he loves his computer program that he uses cause he doesn't have to write anything, he just points and clicks the already preloaded "notes" in the program..and I said so you don't add any input or expand on the preloaded notes, he's like, nope...ok never gonna hire you

With that much fence I would budget in a nice gas powered auger to dig the holes for you....either that or your gonna need a lot of gloves and some juice boxes

Ya know Steve you can always mark yer turf with dogs. They'll respect that.

I prefer to install GFCI breakers, less expensive and do the same thing,, also look nicer and I have had gfci outlets crap out for no reason...

Thanks Bob. Due to the cost it will probably be an incremental install as funds allow. Alison and I do need to come down to your restaurant soon now that we live closer.

Steve, give me a call if you still have issues. I've dealt with GFI,s alot. Ypu know you only need one in a circuit for 6 outlets. I agree, GFI breakers are the way to go. They cost more, but they are way more reliable. 8 four three 27 zero one 58 two.
