I've got the keltec 9mm, I plan on carrying it, although I need to hit the range some more....only put 10 rounds thru it so far, need to find an ammo that the gun likes

There is no ammo that likes those guns. You need to take it to a gunsmith, or try yourself to remove the barrel and put a jewelers polishing cloth on a dremel and hone down the feed ramp, then any ammo would like the old kel tec... Just ask any number of my customers...

LCP is real nice esp with the ct laser sights. Have also shot and carried the Kahr 380's and 9mm both nice if the feed ramps and triggers are given some attention, but when ever fashion permits (read baggy ) then it's Mr. Browning 1911 for me. Gotta love that 45 cal.....:)

How does that help with the ammo? My problem is the the gun wants to shot below where I am aiming, so I've got a few brands to try out.

Try aiming a little better and using two hands. The one hand gangster shot just isn't working for you.

Often shooting significantly low with loose groups is symptomatic of compensating for the gun recoil. If you are right handed the groups will drift low and left.

That's not an ammo problem son. Ammo doesn't affect accuracy as much as hand control at the range you are talking. If you were shooting 100 yards, then we could talk about specific ballistics of different ammo loads.

I've got a little Taurus 22 pocket rocket and it only is reliable with hot loads (more powder/lighter bullet). CCI Stingers are what I normally keep in it. If I put cheap Winchester ($15/500rds) in it, then it will not reliably feed the next round. That's an ammo problem - missing the target is a whole different issue.

hehe, it is on!! Atleast I don't have to worry about Chuck, seems he couldn't hit the broad side of a barn :hillbilly:

The reason they brought up ammo is because Kel. Tec's have a tendency to have feeding issues. Good ammo usually fixes it. Sometime the ramp needs a little polishing.

As far as shooting low, that's usually a sight picture or anticipation issue. Get a couple of dummy rounds and randomly load them in your mags. I'd b willing to bet you'll catch yourself jerking the trigger.

Chuck is just cross eyed. Been that way since he was a baby. When he was a little boy his friends used to call him Crick. Because Chuck was the smartest one of the bunch and always knew everything. But poor old Chuck was cross eyed. He couldn't see a dewbug on a lilly pad 3 ft in front of him. He constantly shot his friends thinking he was getting that red tailed squirrel or that black footed possum. To this day that nickname stands. Cross eyed Chuck was his name but you can call him Chick for short. And before you gets to hollarin about the missspellins in that name. Look at Chuck and then look at that name and tell me it don't look him right.
