ups paid me a visit again today. I could get used to this... hub rebuild kit i found on mud from trailgear including bearings!!

I'll add to thelist of other things not to buy from advance or autozone:

Fwd cv axles. On an old Acura it took me three axles before I demanded my money back and went OE. One had a bad abs ring, another clicked worse than the one I was replacing, and the third one locked the car down. At least I got good at pulling the axles. : mad:
 
I ran advanced auto lifetime cv axles on my delsol for years. Ran over 300 hp and torque numbers unknown. Only time I broke an axle was with abuse. Major wheel hop dropping the stage 3 clutch at 7 grand. I had way too much bottom end torque for a fwd that light. No experience with their other bearings
 
Chuck came by Friday and waited around till I have him something. Then left half of the crap he could have put in his cruiser so he would have another excuse to get some free stuff.

Carp came by sat and I loaded him down with all kinds of stuff. Thanks david. Worked the rest of the day sorting parts to put in the black totes.

John Lee came over today and we moved 3 trailers full of parts. All the totes are up and most of the wood working tools are now home and put away. Thanks again John.

No problem, thank you. It was good to talk cruisers and catch up. I still owe you that beer Saturday.

Saw a silver kitted out FJC with a UC sticker up in A-ville the other day, wondered who it was...
 
does the club have a press? Looks like i may have to tackle this tcase rebuild myself.
 
No press. Though I really need to get one. Bring over your crap this weekend and I can help you if you will help me a little. I've never had to use a press. Especially since your not reusing the old bearings.
 
let me get the front of the case down and talk to the wife. I am off saturday so could help you until we go to barleys.
 
GE has a new policy as of last year. No smoking on GE property. So what do they do? They walk over behind my warehouse and smoke and then throw their butts on the ground. Great job GE. Just push your problems on someone else. Notice the nice worn path they have made in the last few months. There are hundreds of cigarette butts all over the ground.
