I've been to the US National Whitewater Center more than a dozen times since it first opened and had an annual pass a few years ago. They keep finding ways to improve their offerings. These type of events are always very popular, which means big crowds and tight parking but don't let that stop you. Just plan on arriving early and have patience. Between the people watching, live music and beer selection, I don't see how you can lose.

Yes, the young woman contracted it there. They shut down the man made river and subsequently drained the channels and pond. They now have water quality tests and must meet water quality standards as set forth by the city. Your have much better odds of being struck by lightening or winning the lottery than contracting that amoeba.

I thought the same thing when I saw Adam posting about "tucking". It's a valid conclusion to jump to.

I'm sparing you all my hilarious stupid comments about this, but just know that I don't get the same satisfaction out of telling them to the household animals. They let me know I'm stupid. Y'all are much more tolerant...and enabling.

Don't want to tuck this up, but didnt they have brain eating bacteria in the water there not long ago? That could be tucking bad news, you get tucked.
The ropes course is fantastic, done that a few times, tucking good time and no brain eating bugs that I recall.
