I am on the final stages now. Troopy is driving. Computer needs fine tuning.

The Saudi Spec troopy attracts loads of attention everywhere I drive. I even had some guy in a Range Rover ask me if Toyota had started production again.

The 700R automatic transmission (brand new) shifts smoothly. Shifts gently into reverse. Shifts smoothly thru the gears. I have just under 300 miles on engine and drivetrain, so I am taking it easy until the motor is properly broken in. Still need to get it on a dyno to properly configure the computer for optimum power and fuel mixture.

I need to locate some new dash knobs. There are a few that do not match.

Also will be installing a brand new "vintage looking" stereo unit. Any suggestions?
Speaker location is a big deal too. Door speakers and possilble Wake Tower speakers at the back of the roll bars.

Hi Lift Jack and Gerry Cans give it an off road ruggedness. However, I doubt I will ever take this true off roading. 1. There is no where, I mean no where remotely close to Hilton Head. And if there were, it would be mud and brush.

The sides of canvas can be zipped off. The entire canvas and hoops can be removed and I have a bikini top that attaches to the windshield and roll cage. I may get a pair of short doors for this.

Now that it is nearly 100percent brand new, I may put it for sale. I have 4 other projects on the go.
