Toyota Cadet Blue T449 (2 Viewers)

So, I am having a hell of a time finding this color. I have tried using the T449 at 3 shops as well as the Ditzler number 13732. The only thing one of the shops found was that it was a lacquer only paint and they couldn't mix it or find a comparable swatch to scan.

The only older Toyota code that worked for me was Horizontal Blue T1208 which I had mixed up but it sprays too close to a baby or capri blue.

If anyone has a mix for T449, I'd love it.

TCP Global has it and can make it. I asked for a sample and they said you have to order a quart at minimum or get a 4x6 card that they'll spray for me. The quart is $50 and the card is $40! Maddening!

Do you have a contact for this place? I've been searching for info on this color. I gave up on green. I think this is one that will look good solid in a matte and still be likeable for me and the wifey.

I contacted the company and they don’t provide paint chips. They only sell quarts as a minimum. I need to see it before I decide. Another member doing the stainless hinge pins has a similar color match on his truck and I’m waiting for his response.

@A10Driver : I thought of you & looked through my computer to find the paint color you're likely most familiar with & wanting. When describing this attractive color to the automotive paint store, tell them, "It looks like a Killer." They'll know the color code more easily that way ...
