@samh You guys are all awesome! Thanks! I found one and thanks a ton for even offering to help!

The rest of you are dead to me. :) Oh wait, that might be going against the spirit of the thread.

Seriously, this is a great club and someone texted me with what I need. Your efforts are appreciated and I hope to contribute when I can as well! Carry on! When I get the foglights mounted should post an update pic of the "Tough Runner." The new bumper makes it look like a worthy survivor in Rick Grimes' world.... why didn't they ever use yotas in that show..... Although... Darrel's motorcycle was the bomb.... I wanted that thing.... Anyway, I'll get back to my tasks now.

Thanks again all for your consideration!
Let’s see that beast @YotaPaullie !

Patience.... Life has been busy, and I am waiting for all my stuff to arrive from my eBay shopping spree. I have most of it, but waiting for a few more things before I start mounting and running wires. I am pretty sure that when I hit a light switch I will be able to make the Aussies think they are on Tatooine.... and they are seeing moons in the daytime.... at least that's my goal anyway. A guy can have a deranged fantasy right?

Considering one of these for the 80. Anyone have experience with this type of jack/stand?

Really like the looks of that jack. Nice wide base plate.

Wonder if it would store lying on its side without leaking?
Only one way to find out… CCRider has to buy it and you can borrow it to experiment. 😀. I kid I kid.

It looks pretty cool to be honest.

Anyone have a 45° double flare/inverted flare tool for brake lines? I need to make up a couple of short brake lines for my new master cylinder and my kit only does single flares.

***EDIT*** This has been taken care of!

Hey all, I'm looking for space and a jack in Missoula/nearby to replace a CV axle on my LX470! I'm driving cross country and the passenger side inner boot tore, and I'm definitely on borrowed time with the amount of dirt road travel I'm doing. I've got the axle and tools, just looking for a flat driveway and a jack/stand to borrow to get it done (don't want to do it in the walmart parking lot with a bottle jack). I will compensate you for having my rig taking space for a couple hours. Give me a call or text at Six One Four 557-4554 if you can help out.

Does anyone know of a shop that can make custom crimped battery cables locally?

Does anyone know of a shop that can make custom crimped battery cables locally?

is there a batteries plus in town? I thought they can do them
a local shop in Helena can, Northwest battery.

What size cable? I have a crimper that can do up to 1/o AWG lugs, just got a bunch of 2 AWG cable to make some battery, generator and inverter power cables for various projects. All that is needed is the appropriate size cable, lugs and ideally some heat shrink and they're easy to make.

@3_puppies We do have a Batteries Plus in town.

@AirheadNut I don't actually know the size. I kind of need to look at some cable to make some decisions.

I want to install a distribution block on the firewall, make some cables to/from that, and clean up everything else.

I suspect that 2 AWG would be plenty for that application, depending on what you want to run off it.

FYI for anyone needing cables made up in the future. Napa in Bozeman has bulk wire, crimp fittings, and the tools to make up any cables you may need. They have a catalog full of special fittings and connectors too.
