I figured they were,I couldn't remember is the end caps on the frame were actually square themselves. I don't ha e them in mine anymore after a dissent install.

I should back up and say that if you lower this a couple mm on both sides and pull it out a couple mm the headlight lower mount tabs are just barely exposed enough to mount it regularly. Also, that depending on how much metal you trim off the lateral cross member at the corners right where the rivets are that hold the fender will determine how far back you're able to push this bumper in. (and the frame bolt adjustable underside holes to a certain degree)
If you have the tools to make a smooth radius cut across the top of the bumper this would be a better way. As opposed altering the car to fit the bumper.
The gap between the fender and the bumper is directly related to if you want the lower headlight bolts installed and how much space you want there. In almost any hit on the corners the lower headlight tabs are going to break anyway.
It's growing on me sort of.

In one pic you can see the lower headlight bolt. ALso the half moon of the rivet on the side.
in the other you can see the reinforcement behind the front plate front underneath. The piece you have to notch out is pretty cheap, so I don't mind snipping it. IF it was a 200$ piece I would have not cut it. As it stands it's fine. If I had another car I would have scalloped the bumper out on both sides so you wouldn't have to make any cuts.
I know it's ugly, I used tin snips. The dremel disks, that are perfect, cost more than the toyota piece you're cutting ha. I used 7 before I swapped to snips.

I got the T-17 bumper about 4 months ago and really like how it looks on my 03 LC. I don't do a lot of offroading, and don't plan to bash any rocks anytime soon. For my money, I feel that this was a good upgrade. I got mine from bumpersuperstore delivered for around $750. It was a bitch to install due to my wife's driving skills, she ran into a firetruck.
I would like to add some spot/flood lights in the empty rectangular holes if anyone has some suggestions.

Do you have photos?

Where did you find the cool LED driving light inserts?

Has anyone integrated some square fog lights into the square holes on the front of the bumper? curious if these areas will accept / are deep enough for fog lights? thinking of doing some custom plates to fit these holes. I have a customers bumper on the way to me.

Keep us updated, a friend is looking for lights to fit his tjm.

those two center holes are 4 3/4 x 2 5/8 roughly. The bottom has gussets so you can't make it bigger moving down but maybe a 1/4, top wise you run into the curve to the top flat portion with maybe a 1/2 more room.
I don't see a way to flush mount a 5x5. If there was a 4.5 x 4.5 LED square that would be good. Rolled edges don't make it all that easy either.

A 5x5 is almost out of the question unless you cut into the bottom vertical runs, or stand offs, whatever you call them. If anyone makes an adapter plate I'd take two.

Can you give me any details on that light bar. I'm still trying to figure out what will fit without having to drill.

I like what you did with the indicator light. Do you have a pic of the full bumper on your rig?
