@Mieser there are no outter bump stops on this thing but the measurement between the upper most flat surface on the coil bucket (inside the spring) to the bump stop is 4.5".
Hope that helps.
I did a few comparison measurements. I have pulled the rear springs and inner stops completely. I still have the factory outer bumpstops.
When the suspension is at full bump it is 3.5" from the metal inner bump pad to the mounting surface for the inner bumpstop.
The factory inner bump-stop is 6" tall.
Basically the inner bump-stop will compress 2.5" before the outer bump-stop would hit.
If I am thinking about this all kinda right.....you would have 7" of uptravel ( 4.5" free space plus 2.5" inner bump squish ) before the factory outer would have stopped the axle (they are still rubber).
I wonder if the factory inner bumpstops where designed as an overload spring of sorts?
I would be curious to know what weight was on the rear axle with the back chopped off....
I am just thinking out loud, don'd mind me.
Thanks again for the help.
I heard 160ish for the 3rd row springs. The LX450 had non-3rd row springs which where 150ish.
That is what I found during my research.
And these are all now discontinued from Toyota.
Oh s***, now you're just going crazy. I liked the other way so much better. Lol

John Bobbitt, just call him Bob. Half the car he used to be. That was what I named one of my part rig, as the PO cut off the top. It was funny until my 10 year old daughter asked "why".
