The speedo seal worked. No drips.

Spent a few hours putting on this damn fuel pump. The PO of course used 8 oz of RTV so that's likely the reason the pump was dumping fuel into the oil.

I replaced the pump. Probably only needed to replace the gasket but I'm the king of throwing parts at s*** and Hoping it fixes the problem

I also got a thermostat from @beno while I was at it. Went to open the housing and one of the bolts is stuck. I poured the Kroil to it but I'm pretty sure it's going to snap off.

That's another $200 coming. Since I have to do that I'll go ahead and do the hoses.

:tarbaby:

I got the Pig all teed up to slap the new @Racer65 carb on and peel out some but UPS has lost it so I'm gonna do something else this weekend.

Back to the combo of the two Pigs.

My 77 has a big ass hole in the pan and the donor pig had decent metal there so I cut it out and will weld this into my 77

I can't wait to scrape that glue off

Another stroke of luck is that the passenger floorboard that is rotted on my 77 is perfect on the 73 so It's about to get the same hack.

The 73 is solid

older metal is better metal...

So then I looked real close at my seats and thought....man. As a jihad Pig they would be fine but now that I am doing the headliner and such I need to have something nicer than that.

So, I yanked em.

I'm going to see what Pedro will cover them for.

Then I decided the rear heater is dumb and pulled it out. It's for sale now.

Now I can get busy on cleaning and patching the floor. It's not going to be too bad with the donor pig steel.

The top hose is right. The bypass hose is OEM. The bottom hoses are way off. I cut them and jacked it all around and mostly got the hoses right.

The coolant pipe was nasty.

I'm installing and cleaning as I go. Not trying to go crazy in the engine Bay but making it nice and stopping rust
