So when does this turn in to an "80 series OEM parts available in stock" thread like in the 40 section? Only a matter of time I guess.
Yup. Correct Patrick.

No, OEM 1FZ-FE engine gasket kits are not discontinued.

I’m imagining a “Fast and the Furious” version with some slow Land Cruisers waiting for a downhill stretch to be able to hopefully catch up with that semi.
That’s how I feel with my med school books. Sometimes I wonder what I could’ve bought instead of thousands of dollars of books... maybe I’d be cool like you. Time to evaluate life.
Whew. A few left. $85 per cap. That’s a decent portion of new wheels. Decisions.Check with your Toyota dealer.
Here kitty kitty
Beautiful piece of Aichi Steel. OEM 80 series PS gear box. Notice the 105 sector shaft is not tapered like the factory units. This is now how they come from Toyota new. Manufactured by Toyoda Industries (AKA: JTEKT). Very readily available. A different pitman arm is needed as well.

Can I rebuild my old one and upgrade it to the new 105 shaft and new pitman arm? Is that cost effective?
How much are the 1FZ-FE gasket kits? Do they have everything needed for the job? I'm leaving puddles of coolant everywhere when I stop looks like I am leaking below the exhaust manifold near #6 cylinder.
Thanks.
Please see your Parts dealer for pricing and availability.
Or plug the part numbers into Amayama or Partsouq to find out about availability and pricing. Sadly (at least here in Australia) parts are generally a lot more expensive going direct through Toyota. Why Amayama, etc. can supply them significantly cheaper in most cases isn't something I'm privy to. But it's how many of us track down hard to find stuff.
