Stupid question but why end it now when it seems more and more people are showing up every year?yes it is a great event and i wish i was there the last 2 years that i mssed it i would be more than happy to help out if needed maybe next year i'll show up thursday to get a lot of time to know some of you fine people,my family had a blast and i do hope that if it ends next year that something else would replaced it.I also think that Nov is such a perfect time to be out in pismo and be able to enjoy the sights.

I've been to ALL of the SnT's. If Jim steps down, i'm sure any of us locals would be more than willing to step in and grab the reigns. Same weekend in November, every year.
We could even call it "PismoJims Surf N Turf" and he can walk around as benevolent Tequila Shaman the whole time... Wait he already does that!!!
2012 will afford him and Katherine some much needed relaxing at the beach with all of us Cruiserheads instead of spending it working all weekend. (Katherine that is!)

Yes, and in the small print on the logo on the back of the shirt it says "penultimate". As you probably know, penultimate is the one before the last one.

Somehow, the idea of coins at an event held at the beach sounds problematic. Unless you own a metal detector.

That Birf did so much damage that I have to put in a new housing in place..............metal gouged out the seal and the seal seat is ruined...........
