Hi All,I plan on making it 10 in a row!!!!

How many others have attended all S n' T's??? Is it true all good things must come to an end???

No pressure Jim,you guys have started something really cool here and have brought together so many folks.Meeting new friends is a good thing. We have you to thank for the ones we have now.I met Mark Warner down there at S 'n T#3,4 or so and we have been good friends since, way cool.He introduced me to the Rubicon(Rubithon)and without S n' T,I prob. would not have done it for 3 years in a row-Thanks man!!

2007 was my first actual event that i attended. I can't express how much fun i have had at the snt's i have been to. The frienships i have made there will be cherished! Mud and my cruiser really got me out of a sad place when i needed it most. Getting involved with something that i love and will stay with me forever! I can remember the first one i went to i was lucky to have the best people making sure i was safe and comfortable getting there so i had a good time! Next year yeah ill be there! :D

Yep, me and mine will all be there fo sure!! It's also a pretty good bet there will be some epic Pig Flyin too!! We've been to the last 8 and it has become the one event that we cannot miss!!

Rumor is, the 2011 SnT event on Pismo Beach will be the FINAL one ever...if you are setting your 2011 calendar, I suggest making plans for this event...it has been amazing in the past, and this final run should top them all!

I'm really BUMMED out! :crybaby: I hope somehow it is just a rumor!
If the world does NOT end in 2012, I would be willing to help out with SNT 2012..... :hhmm:

I'll be there, always a good time with you guys.

X2 We have made so many Freinds that have become Family I think its time to start bringing the Grand children out. Now I just have to figure out how to make the LV even lighter if I am going to compete with " Flying Pigs " :steer:

This year, I just got there too late. Coming Friday night didn't leave me enough time. Only had one night to hang out and meet people, and then it was over. Next year, I'm taking a couple days off and coming up Thursday morning. I'll do Pozo, a lot more dune wheeling, do a nice barbecue, surf a lot...s***, maybe I need to take Wednesday off too...

Agreed...two days (only one full day) was not nearly enough time to take it all in. Friday evening was spent setting up camp; Saturday was spent setting up camp and wheeling and finding people and making restroom runs; Sunday was spent packing up and limping home.

I plan on arriving on Wednesday night or Thursday morning next year, so I at least get a good two days of fun.

Me and the kid will be there for year number 3. See if blue camp will have me back???

Going to do my best to be there. Who knows maybe my rig will be a bit more sand friendly next year.

Wouldn't miss the last event for anything.

this year was my first time. i had an awsome time and i will be very sad if next year is the last surf n turf.

From what I have seen (my 4th year at S&T, 2nd year at rubithon, and 2nd year at Deer Valley), S&T has buy far the most people attending. To drop this event without replacing it with another is just foolish. The TLCA should consider making this one of their events not only to get more members but the money that can be made by registration fees, t-shirts, key chains ect. Possibly Jim can sell or hand over the naming rights, or some of us TLCA members can organize a new event at Pismo and just call it something else..........just my 2 cents

In the eyes of the State Parks, SNT is just a bunch of people camping around each other, if it was an organized event, it would need permits and various requirements met. Its a fine line to walk.
