Very cool, I would love to come Visit some day.

Party on

This is the coolest thing I've ever seen on MUD. Googling how many hours to get there now!

Loved the time we spent in Columbia (much too short). Turned out to be our favorite on our year trip

Im not an experience camper but have done my research, resources are limited but try to get the most out of what´s available, working with these people have showed me a way of being resourcefull.
Was able to negotiate 4 big teak trunks, beautyful wood, so columns are teak!, the paths are so slippery and muddy from first rains that is best to bring the planks of wood in a panga.(boat).
An organic ripe papayuela for less than 30cents, plantains, bananas, mamey, mangos, and good fish, lobster for around 2 dollars a pound. good stuff...

This is awesome. I'm pretty sure every mall cruiser out there wishes it could live this life (i love the huge slag of mud on the hood). I really like seeing that only basic upgrades (such as tires) are needed to conquer these types of roads.

Keep the photos coming!

Where are the pics from the last update?

I've run my 92 with 31x10.50s (stock size) for 23 of its 24 years. I've been places no road vehicle should go. People underestimate the incredible nature of these vehicles. That is a fact.

Ok here go some pics...

Awesome!

The road this time was narrowed to a single lane. Some muddy parts. The beach crossing was easy. The Hut came up taller than I expected. I will just keep it simple as it is a remote spot that I visit three or four times a year. The shower was improvised with a small tank and the toilet was still primitive. I've got to research what mudders use in camping.

is that daihatsu for real? Looks like it just drove out of a museum!

That hut looks like a damn good time.

We have that sort of camping in Venezuela, we mostly do it in the Llanos very close to the border at Puerto Carreño.

Same plan, Improvised kitchen and WC, and all the rest is brought in: sleeping in hamacas, cooking in camping stoves set atop the fixed table, etc.

Out of all the people who travel to these sorts of places, I'd say 95% of them drive Land Cruisers, so your Hut's name is more than adequate.

If you need anything from Venezuela, just send a message.

Saludos,

Luis
