Happy new years to you as will, The Hut is coming a long, Enjoy

Thank you all for the likes. Remember this place is available for Mud members year round. I Will be coming back in february.
Next project on the hut Will be finishing the bathroom. Just a simple shower and a dry toilet as water is very scarce.
The Walls for the bathroom are made of Palm leaves. Just a Cheap solution while there is more money to throw at it.
Dry season started so Mud is not part of the adventure for now.
Last pic shows the 80 back home covered in dust, tomorrow Will get a nice preassure cleaning bath.

hello mud. a couple pics from before the trip, loading the trailer with some materials to work on the hut, the generator is indispensable as there is no power yet. thinking of buying a solar panel to plug a couple of fans and a bulb to be able to cook at night. have any of you used ther solar panels from Coleman?
planning next trip for second half of february, at least be there for ten days so i can advance in the whole set up and be able to have it more confortable for the family.

Hello Mud, hope everyone is starting the new year the best way possible with dreams to pursue.
here are a couple of aerial shots of the land cruiser hut that my cousin shot with a drone.
im getting ready to travel and the 80 series will be in charge of taking a bunch of stuff. i have been hearing a metl sound when going thru pot holes and bumps, got to look up on mud threads that give me more clues about the sound.
anyway, hope to share more pics of next trip...

If you're carrying a heavy load in your rig and the suspension is fairly compressed, it might just be the exhaust pipe clanging on the rear panhard bar. It happened to me on an overlanding trip, before I got my OME 2.5" lift. It would only do it on bumps. Crawl underneath and check the clearance between there when you're loaded up. Sagging springs will cause that. Your rig might be due for a lift or some air bags.
