How do you know they were there if you weren't :hhmm:

That's the CU method of deductive reasoning.:p[/quote]

Those annual predictions of football glory for CU are starting to make a lot more sense now :grinpimp:

Oh how I love those BEAVERS..........go Oregon State!!!!!!!!!!!

hope you fellas stayed up to watch this one

Yes indeed, awesome game. Funny to watch a little 18 year old kid shred that "NFL caliber" USC defense.

I guess Steen's Dawgs have a shot to move back up and pray for a TCU win over the Sooners.

They have to take care of business and beat Satan first, which I believe they will do...

Don't want to jinx them, but I'm not nearly as concerned about playing satan as Fla. Bama runs... we don't let people run. We are home, blackout, gameday etc...

and... we are just better. Bama hype was in full force last year too. Didn't last. It's not like they've really played anyone yet. :flipoff2:

Zing!!!

The real question is, are you going to be part of the blackout and Gameday and go to the game?

Wish I could, but I don't have season tickets, and they are scalping for $600+ so I'm opting for smoking some ribs with friends and watching the smackdown.

Gonna be a good time!

I'm gonna go ahead and predict UNC to loose this weekend to Miami. We would have any way even with a good QB. But now that he is down for 6 weeks or longer we have no chance.

I'll be watching that game today, Troll. Unfortunately, on the tube, not at the game.

Andy: We meet later next month. Had planned to go to that game but now I'm scheduled to be on a delivery. Are you coming down for that one?

Wow what a day in college football!

Old Miss beat Florida with a blocked extra point
UNC comes from behinf to beat Miami
Maryland beat Clemson
Oregon State beat USC

And Duke actually looked good today.

Crazy day. The Georgia game tonight ought to be good.

The Bama Georgia game in a little while is huge now with Florida losing. Went to the Auburn game today and was again extremely frustrated. I don't think the spread can work in the SEC, I'm damn tired of it along with most of Auburn's fans.

hey marshall you forgot Navy taking out Wake........... atleast I have company in my misery :D

Yeah I just saw that. Lol.

Navy:rolleyes:

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Eric Kettani rushed for a career-high 175 yards and backup quarterback Jarod Bryant scored the decisive touchdown late in the fourth quarter to give Navy its first win over a ranked team in 23 years, 24-17 over mistake-prone No. 16 Wake Forest on Saturday.

Coming in with a nation-best plus-10 turnover ratio, the Demon Deacons (3-1) committed six turnovers in a dreadful performance a week after dominating Florida State.

Riley Skinner 's fourth interception midway through the fourth quarter set up Bryant's 4-yard run with 3:45 left and ended Wake Forest's comeback from a 17-0 deficit.

Navy (3-2) won its second straight game despite losing starting quarterback Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada in the second quarter when he aggravated a left hamstring injury after rushing for two scores in the Midshipmen's quick start.

But Navy's much-maligned defense, which gave up 76 points in consecutive losses to Ball State and Duke, stepped up. Four different players had interceptions in Navy's first win over a ranked team since a 17-13 win over No. 20 Virginia in 1985.

Kettani's 57-yard run shortly after Skinner's final interception set up Bryant's score. Kettani's previous career day was a week earlier when he rushed for 133 yards in a 23-21 win over Rutgers.

It was all part of a miserable day for Wake Forest, which had insisted it was going to avoid a letdown between games against Florida State and Clemson.

Instead, Skinner had one of his worst games since taking over as the starter in Wake Forest's Orange Bowl season in 2006, left tackle Jeff Birdsong was ejected for a blow to the head, and the Demon Deacons had their six-game winning streak dating to last season snapped in ugly fashion.

Skinner, who had not thrown an interception since the first half of last year's Meineke Bowl, completed 26 of 40 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown pass to Mike Rinfrette with 1:14 left, but was responsible for five turnovers after also losing a fumble.

Wake Forest never got a running game going, managing only 51 yards on the ground.

Skinner's streak of 133 passes without an interception ended when he was picked off by Ross Pospisil on Wake's first series. It led to Kaheaku-Enhada's 4-yard TD run.

Navy, which converted seven straight third down chances to start the game, took a 14-0 lead on Kaheaku-Enhada's 3-yard run on the first play of the second quarter.

Coming in with only five turnovers in three games, Wake Forest couldn't overcome a dizzying display of mistakes and undisciplined plays in the first half.

Receiver Marshall Williams lost a fumble, Skinner badly overthrew Chip Brinkman and it was picked off by Wyatt Middleton , Skinner lost a fumble after picking up a first down and then Ketric Buffin intercepted another badly thrown ball.

And Birdsong could only watch, after being ejected early in the second quarter for a blow to the head away from the ball. It was all part of an uncharacteristic first half that saw Wake Forest with only one more first down (six) than turnovers.

Wake Forest's hopes of tying the game ended when Skinner was picked off by Emmett Merchant midway through the fourth quarter.

Anybody see Kentrell Lockett jump over the offensive line to block the extra point in the Florida game? I have never see anything like that.

My wife is yelling at the TV. She keeps yelling "Where is Georgia!"

Oh, is UGA supposed to play tonight? There's some high school team playing Bama right now. What channel is UGA on?

looks like Clemson and UGA are a joke and Bama is for real.............. any BAMA fans out there??? this is your day

I almost feel vendicated in UGA's loss if only we could have shown up in 2nd half and beaten the turtles

You know Clemson may have sucked at playing football today but your fans made up for it.

Looks like a play caller for Auburns suckey spread offence

Well that was a s***ty weekend of college football for all concerned I dont guess anyone on here really has anything to talk about except losing. Even a 13 pt win isn't much to talk about when you look at who the loser was.
