Go to the BBall thread where tarholes belong. :flipoff2: Until I see some football tonight I'm gonna be a little worried just never know how teams will react to the long layoffs and all. If Clemson plays the way they are capable they win by 2+ touchdowns.

Pretty sure Steele and the rest of the Defense didn't get on the bus.

Thanks Clemson for keeping the ACC reputation alive.

I think the defense watched the game on tv from Clemson, they missed the plane or something. It was just awful to watch, feel bad for some of those seniors like Phillip Price going out there and destroying his knee and still trying to go back on the field to help the team, and then he has to sit there and watch the D play like that and kill any chance you have. Clemson made a lot of mistakes though, dropped passes especially, missed assignments, poor tackling can't win a game that way. Mobile Qb's were the killer all year as well the D just couldnt keep contain on them.

All I can say is wow.

Double wow.

All I can say is wow.

That was me half way through the 2nd quarter.

Double wow.

That was me at half time.

I watched the game at my parents house. The entire second half, I tried to get up and go home but it was so awful I couldn't budge. I just couldn't stop watching. It was amazing.

I feel bad for price too. I can't imagine how much pain he must have been in...physically and emotionally.

What other impressive win did they have this year?

I think the emphasis was on years. They are 3-0 in BCS bowl games, with stompins' of Clemson, Oklahoma, and a close win over UGA in the Fiesta Bowl. Ever since the Pat White days I agree WVU has had some good games. Including last night.

What other impressive win did they have this year?

Therein lies the problem, they don't really have any "conference" games that are tough... Maybe Marshall in their hey day but just wait, whatever conference they go to will have a damned honey badger on their hands... But as Jeremy said above, they have held their own against some powerhouses in bowl games and if you believe the hype they beat up on one of the best Clemson teams that they have had in a while. 70 points is a lot for a bowl game, against a very good team...

"Hey Coach Steele, how many touchdowns do you think your team will allow in this year's Orange Bowl?"

Oh Richard....

I got yer avatar for ya pal!
Here it is all re-sized and stuff. Hope it works.
It ain't too bad. I'll give ya this too: You are the only
Tiger faithful I know who would lay it on the line for the
Tigers with ol Gundy this year. Kudos.
Still a dang fine season ya'll had.
Years from now all they'll remember will be the Championship
AND that BCS bowl. Truly historic on both counts.

There you go David, I'll make the bet and eat the results of losing it.

National Champ game was awful, I didn't care and I didn't watch more than 15 sec of the game when I checked to see the score in the third quarter. We need a playoff, and they need to slide all the bowls like a week closer to the regular season having a month off is ridiculous.

ESPN just reported LSU is stuck at the dome. Someone painted a midfield stripe in front of the bus and they can’t figure out how to cross it.

I just wonder what Lee (the other QB) musta done to Miles' daughter to not get a chance last night.
