Both games were great, now I hope UVA stomps a mud hole in the Shamecocks. As long as the officiating doesnt get them it should be a good series. Never seen as many bad calls as this weekend, who did USC hire to call the games this weekend Columbia Middle School officials? Leaving the basepath in the CCU game? What did they want him to do run over the third baseman? Safe at home in the second Clemson game? He was out by damn near a foot. Those officials were awful and effected every game I watched.

Those calls in the CU vs USC games you refer to were CORRECT.
If you insist I'll give you the rules and the photos to prove it.

Jack Leg calls a bush league game. Letting players flip bats and pose for the HR. BUSH LEAGUE.
Teaching players to GRAB the 2nd baseman. BUSH LEAGUE.
Running out of the 3rd base box to chase a runner down the baseline. Shoulda been ejected. BUSH LEAGUE.
The rules are what USC plays by.....CU just isn't use to having to play by the rules, hence all the
bush league crap this weekend by the LOSERS.
Did the CU team come on the field to shake hands afterwards?
Ray was VERY complimentary of the Tigers. Jack Leg? Not one word in praise of USC.
BUSH LEAGUE.
Uh....UVA may not get that chance. Stay tuned as the Title Defense moves forward.
Name calling is all CU has left. They dang sure can't beat USC when it matters.
The whole nation has seen that.
Oh and let us remember CU holds the all time edge in baseball.
I'll not live long enough to see USC match CU.....I mean it's total domination by CU.
So much so it ain't even a rivalry....just ask Dabo.

My experience with Jack andthe taers yesterday (a long but good read) Reply
I don't go to many baseball games but yesterday since I don't get ESPNU I decided at the last minute to go to the game. I lucked up with a single ticket in the box seats beside the clemson dugout (literally 3 feet from Jack and the Taters).

I played sports and I have a bad habit or swearing like a sailer but even I was amazed at the language used by the Clemson players and coached. I've literally never heard so many GDs, MFs, SOBs, etc in my life. Also, the ammount of stuffed punched , thrown etc was amazing.

I never said anything to them during the game. Although one of our fans was heckling them pretty good (no swearing and nothing dirty). He best line was he was trying to file a police reportagainst Leggett to protect the Clemson players from his illegal posterier touching - even the cop LOL at that one.

The Clemson players flicked the guy off and cussed at him multiple tims during the game. After the game Kevin Brady ran off the field yelling FU at all of our fans etc.

At tis point - I could not longer resist I had to say something!!!!
From my seat I told the Clemson players "You can't beat us - It's just like Football".(I did not swear or say anything else).

I actually was stunned by the response. About half the team turn and ran at me screaming FU, MFer, SOB etc. Brady, Phil Pohl, and a few others threatened to come kick my butt and made a rather weak attempt to come over the rail aftr me.

Jack leg told security to get "that worhtless MFer away from his dugout" refering to me. I told jack - "Jack I didn't swear at your players and a man in your position should not use that type of language." Jack leg then look me in the eye and told me to "go F myself and that I wasa worthless piece of sh!t.

One of Clemson assitant coaches attempted to push me. The security guard had to get in his way. The ask security to get rid of me. The security guy told them that they needed to leave me alone because I was in my seat and I had done nothing that violated any code of fan conduct. The security guard told me that Clemson acts like that everytime that come to columbia. He said they are the worst behaved team to ever play at Carolina Stadium.

Jack and the team then went on the field to shake hands. When they came back toward the dugout. They looked for me (I had moved further away from their dugout and was talking to some Carolina fans about the incident and really how surprised I was at there behavior). Kevin Brady and several other flicked us off and continue to yell MFer and threatened to come kick my butt etc.

I know I kinda started it - but I never cussed at, or insulted any clemson player of coach. My exact quote was "you can't beat us - its just like football and I had nearly the entire clemson baseball team and coaching staff call me an MFer, threaten to kick my butt and if not for scurity being present I'm not entirely sure they wouldn't have come into the stands.

I always respected Jack because he has won so much and I generally don't think the CU baseball team cheats but I've never seen a sports team of coach behave like them. Leggett has move ahead of Daybo in my eyes.

We must be in their heads bad to get that type of reponse from my relatively benign comment.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say that you played baseball beyond say teeball, and in that case assume you have slid into a base in your life. Now lets just say that its probably been what 25-30 years since you did it so maybe your memory is a little off. When you slide your arms are always out to the side and often somewhat upright. Do you think people slide with their hands clasped and placed neatly in their lap? He didn't grab the second baseman, he slid and his arm hit him, its as much the 2nd basemans fault for coming across the bag toward first and not more toward the infield.

Seriously???? this is story is a joke , but what is truly sad is grown men heckling 18-22 year old kids, PATHETIC:flush:

I can't say that I'm surprised that CU fans are crying that the umpires cost them the game and the series. I've grown to expect excuses from y'all. What do you have to offer, excuse-wise, to explain away the losses over the last three years in just about every major sport?

I'll hang up and listen...

Make that Clemson fan not fans.....I believe I congratulated USC, and I have made no excuses.... Richard on the other hand :D, but if you have ever met Rudnicki you know there isn't a more die hard Clemson fan so you boys aren't ever going get an "at ah boy" from him at least not until you get somewhat close to evening out the overall series :hillbilly:

Whatever helps him sleep at night...

:D

What helps me sleep at night is knowing my Clemson degree is substantially more respected in the real world. :flipoff2:

Owning USC in every major sport for the past 100 years is just icing on the cake. Its ok though enjoy it, this is the golden age of USC sports and you get to gloat about it, it would just be a blip on the timeline for CU though.

lol

The worst thing Clemson ever did was to win the national title back in '81. You've thought of yourselves as world beaters ever since, and it's made the fanbase delusional.

So what is ya'lls excuse, and don't give me that baseball crap... that is peanuts. USC hasn't sniffed a National tittle in football and your fans seems very well grounded in their delusions

My tarheel blvd sign I left attached to your RV

LOL it gotta be on the highway some where by now........ that will teach you to bring that trash into my home :flipoff2:

Their is no excuse for us not winning one in football.

All we can do is make the commitment to be competitive in our conference and hope to be fortunate enough one day to get a shot at a title. Winning our conference will give us that shot. We now have the money and the resources to make that commitment, and we are at the beginning stages of seeing those efforts payoff. We're looking to the future, not harping on a season that happened over 30 years ago.
