I've quit buying lanterns and started looking for metal coolers and old backpacking stoves. I have about 6 metal Coleman coolers that I use and probably 10 more in the attic with junk stored in them. That's the cool thing about having a bunch of coolers (storage).

Seems to light up just fine, but the flame is very tall and sooty plus it seems to be engulfing the manifold like it's leaking or something. the manifold is "temporarily unavailable". Can anyone give me some insight on whats happening with my stove? Thanks in advance.

Ok, you guys who don't live in Earthquake country can store stuff like that -- Me, I gotta hang 'em from nails in the rafters, otherwise it's a tragedy waiting to happen...

:meh:

Nice collection, though.

How much did you say you wanted for it? :)

There's some on eBay at the moment for around 20$

Cool I'll check it out. Like I really need more COLEMAN stuff

You can never have enough!!!

Ok I guess your right. Camping stuff is like cruisers .

My obsession/addiction started at like age 4 or 5 when I started gathering/ collecting camping and Coleman stuff. Then came mustangs then toyotas, now cruisers and now not enough money!!!

Make sure the manifold is clear of any 'debris'. Blow it out with air if you have it. I've hosed mine out before. You just have to let it dry completely. Good luck.

Here are a few more pics from the attic!! Picnic jugs out the yazoo.. I've got another storage space upstairs through a closet where my old coolers are at. I'll try and get a few pics of them too.

Sweet collection!

I forgot to post a pic from our 'Relic Run gear tech night' last week, we had a neat collection of old Coleman and other relic camping gear arrive.

I picked up a new in the box coleman dual fuel 2 burner stove and a single burner 440 stove yesterday for $30. Not the typical 5 bucks, but hell, they are brand new. Never even been filed with fuel..

The 440 is pretty cool. Never seen that model before.

Nice finds! Love the dual fuel 2-burner powerhouse; It's a workhorse! 440 is a great little stove 'cuz it holds about 50% more fuel than most single burners, but it's a little hard to control simmer.

Use 'em!
