Here is where some of the 16 lbs. of excess fat reduction will be taking place. This is going to be some lean bacon.

My mistress will not be needing to wear that corset any more.

Rods are 2 weeks out

Holy sh!t. This is the exact direction my machine shop wants to take the 2F... modern piston geometry and longer rods. I’m going to hit you up off to the side to try and add to your scope :grinpimp:

Can’t wait to see this come together!

get pist! Holy chrome domes someone has the swine flu

What are you doing for air/fuel delivery? Do you have to go back with a smogged carb?

Can you register it in another state and do fuel injection?

I'm CA kid and I love it here. I do like the smog regulations except with the blanket "no modifications." Fuel injection would make that pig run so much better and cleaner. The EFI I put on my 70s sbc made a huge difference.

when I was younger I used to go all overboard on retrofitting engine stuff to eek out every drop of blood. Now I'm on the conservative fence. Since this pig came to me with 98% of it original components in a notch above then reasonably good condition I felt inclined to maintain the grace and poise of the pig she is. Although I have added a lot of accessories, they are easily removable to restore it to her factory good looks. If I were younger with more time left on the books I'd have 2 beauties, one on steroids and one for just the beauty that she is. Currently just trying to reach a balance between the two and not break her , me or the bank.

P.S. I do appreciate everyones input, suggestions opinions. They are what makes this sty worth being a part of.

Well, my hot air delivery is on this forum and any other soap box or beer keg I can find to stand on!!!
But sweet piggies gas is still going to be delivered through the same orifices she was born with and that CA approves of.

But I am installing an air/fuel sensor with gauge so that I can keep it set at the most optimum setting. The bung has been installed on the exhaust just below the manifold connection.

Is it a stupid question as to what a sniper is?

Does Mark A have secret formula for carberaters ?

A Sniper is a simple fuel injection system from Holley. You could literally install one in a couple hours. Use it all year. Pull it off for the silly test.

Repeat.

None of the other systems have self contained computers so they would not be that easy to swap on and off.
