Update Part 2
So last weekend we went down on Friday and picked up the 4.16 case, twisted TT rails and new flanges from Clutchee.
I got up Saturday Morning and was called to action with "I wanna put the new rails in the T-case"
So I cleared off a spot on the bench and put the Mrs. to work.

Now I am not braggin', but she did a pretty d*** good job getting things apart.

Inside the case, gears and bearings were immaculate, did find this little bit of interest.

Yep, one of the case bolts had apparently broken off and had been drilled and helicoil'd I think. I broke the "second" bolt off in the same place and after a quick chase of the threads, I found a short bolt and loaded it and all it's friends up with anti-seize when I put it back together.
I did end up doing a little modding on the factory fork to match up to the new TT rail. Good, bad or indifferent, we will see how it all works out.

So after I put it together for the second time I was satisfied we were good.
Then I went to work on disassembling the rear drive-shaft. I managed to get all but one of the old caps out with my new press, but one just would not give up. Well lets just say my grinder has saved the day a couple times now.

That little bas***d was just not going to go easily. Unfortunately for him I have more than one weapon in my arsenal.
Then the Trail Tough cradle came in and after I picked up some new 10.9 hardware I got it all bolted in and ready to go.

It rained on Sunday so I took off that day. That should get me up to this weekends festivities, stay tuned.

What I am really curious about is how did he get that crazy bend on the rear of what looks to have once been an overload. I mean it takes some serious skill to put that kind of bend in a piece of spring steel.
