Also, should I be using blue loctite? I never have on these bolts but there is a faint red color on the threads like someone maybe used red loctite at some point? I’ve had these apart several times and my bit impact doesn’t have any issue with these bolts. I don’t think I broke red loctite loose (I didn’t use any heat).

That pinkish residue is on other stock toyota hardware that is multiple-use, so it doesn't appear to be thread locker.

Yeah. I think the theoretical issue with the anti-seize is over clamping/torquing due to FSM torque values being based on dry threads, not lubricated threads. I’m pretty sure I got most of the anti-size off with brake cleaner and a rolled up paper tower jammed in there with a screw driver.

Yeah reduce by 20-25% is the ballpark I’ve used. With what little is left after the cleaning you’ve done I’d squirt a little Loctite in the hole and party on
