Have it done for the Fall Gathering?
Hard top is looking good, were you able
to salvage much from the one you got from
me?

I'm hoping to have it done by the fall. I'll definitely be using the driver's side panel from that hard top.

Nice job Splangy

Looks like it's going to be awesome when you get done.

I lived in VT for a number of years...i'm surprised that thing is in that good of condition!

I was there for 5 years and the 62 that i had at the time basically vanished before my eyes  from all the rust!

Keep up the good work!

Sandblasted and epoxy primed the inside of the tub:

It was originally a west coast cruiser and didn't see the Northeast until around '99. 10 years around here was enough to do some rust damage, but not as bad as most around here!

The engine is beautiful. I love it. Keep up the great work. I want that anodizing kit, but I don't think there is enough aluminum on the cruiser to justify it. Especially when I need about one of everything. :hhmm:

It's actually yellow zinc plating on steel, and just about every fastener on the cruiser came coated with it. It's well worth the investment. www.caswellplating.com

LOL, I knew you were going to say that!

Scored some 33x9.50's today. Giggity!

Where did you find these tires? BFG is telling me that 33x950's are no longer in production, and the local tire stores claim there aren't any available. :hhmm:

I need a fuel tank pickup tube assembly ASAP! I should have this thing painted by the end of the weekend and will need to mount the tank to the tub before installing it on the frame. Anybody got one?

Busy day today. I'm exhausted. Block sanded the outside of the tub, seam sealed everything with SEM 2K seam sealer, and Raptor Lined the interior. Raptor liner came out great but it looks quite a bit lighter than the paint I picked up. I sparayed a test shot of the paint and will recheck in the morning. I hope it matches OK. I should be painting tomorrow.

It's a race!

The wiring harness looks pretty good, so I've just made a few repairs where necessary, and reloomed it. It's more of an "unsmog". I put a non-usa carb on it and won't be reinstalling any of the smog stuff. I have most of it all shiny and replated in case I change my mind or the next owner wants to (or has to)resmog it.

Slow down, Your going to pass me!

Are you replacing the wiring harness?

Smog or Desmog?

Sorry, no more questions for now.

I haven't got a fuel pickup assembly for you Splangy ... but I must say I love the quality of your work.
