So now my 80 looks like a giant Oreo Cookie (bedliner/LOTS OF PIX!!)

How about a close up of the texture?

Still filthy from road salt :o

Awesome I guess they stay pretty watertight?

Mind revealing your source for those?

Andrew

Yes, they're watertight :)

I've actually used them on boat bulkheads to wire up bilge pumps where one side of the wall is continuously submerged (wake boat) and the other side stays bone dry

I got them from SkyCraft (electronics surplus store in Orlando)

50 cents a pop

Excellent, I'll have to get some and give them a try. I do a lot of boat stuff, mostly offshore fishing...

how it does with sun and head .. ?

It's hard to clean after a mud splash .. ?

Cleanup is as easy as hosing her off, but I usually rely on rain for that ;)

I'm actually considering going from regular creme Oreo to Double Delight Oreo :hhmm:

What do you guys think?

I just mentioned your truck in my thread, but couldn't remember your username. Great looking truck, once again. Glad you made it through the shooting unscathed!

It's a no-brainer whether or not to go double delight oreo... it really ties the upper and lower black portions together 100x better than white, not to mention it matches the interior perfectly!! Only downside i see is you'll probably be subjected to alot more carjackings. Everyone'll want it!!

I have a pack of the tintable raptor ready to tint with some 3H4 paint (original maroon/burgundy colour) which im gonna use to cover the same lines as your lower area minus the flares as well as the roof and raised bit of the hood which are affected by the faded spots that many were with the factory paint/clear coat.
I'm about 3/4 done with the prep ie: scuffing the finish and using etch primer where i've revealed bare metal. I get the impression however, to perhaps primer the entire area where the raptor will cover?!
I wondered, could you gimme a short run down on what your professional opinion is regarding correct prep procedure?

Would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks from New Zealand

Deffinitely unique. The rack to hood cables are awesome too, like a Defender or Aussie LC. I've been wanting to do that to my ARB once I get a nice rack on mine. I'd love to see that running around Orlando or up in Sanford where I live. Could use some of that bed liner on the lower parts of my sides and axles...

Nice....that looks great! If you make it to Jacksonville pm me....Id love to see it in person.

Boooo all the pics are down!

I was hoping to see how you taped the truck off for the multiple colors. I pulled my flares off this weekend only to find f'd up paint underneath. I was just going to do the flare lines and lower half of the doors but the truck is so scratched that I want to go up to the window line and was thinking about copying your scheme as I love the tan and black. I thought about doing the whole side just black or just tan but I think two tone would look best. I am just not sure how to tape it properly and not have weird lines where the two colors meet.

I don't like Landcruisers white and I don't like them black.
But that looks really nice!
