There are even a few places where there’s some yellow so it was also painted yellow at some point before the green. I mostly used citrus stripper and scraping, then light wet sanding. There was a lot of bondo used as leveling over bare metal that I removed and painted those areas with rustoleum regal red and sanded that to remove gloss and “age” it. Same with any new metal, and there is lots of that. Build thread (‘63 FJ45) link is in sig line. Here’s a link to one of many posts in that thread wrt paint stuff.
