Are these pits legal in city limits? I know the laws vary everywhere, but in general. I would love a fire pit!

Yup, at least here. They have to be lined with a non-combustible material, be 3' in diameter or less, have water hose or a shovel nearby, and burn firewood, not brush/trash. I think that's about it, but each municipality will have their own rules.

A frequently used fire, but no pictures of it burning. This is the only one I could find. Pipe and Cigar pit.

Looks like a washer.

LOL! It is! Makes a great fire pit tho! She got her name because she looks like a small satalite on my roof rack!

My wife just bought a fire pit from Target.

Thing is a freakin joke.

I don't know how I'm actually gonna cut and split wood small enough to fit.

Wives just dont understand fire...

heres one i just finished for a client, fire and water. its concrete block w/ faux stone vaneer. home fireplace box bought and set to make it easier. back yard turf has decent slope so the wall provides a good sod terrace for the fire area.

man that is nice.

depending on where (climate) that is I'd have wanted it closer to the pond - less walking from ice to fire in hockey skates....Sweet!

Made from granite curbing. Free:D

Those are the same luxurious chairs that I have. Except mine have "aged" and no longer have bark. When the next tree falls, I will burn my "chairs" and cut new ones. It is a very complex system!!
