Wagon guys....Friday meeting time

I am probably going to leave around 10am from ATL and get there around 2pm. put tent up and then reach out to folks.
Hit trails from 3-6pm ish and go from there.
Some will arrive later, but if they call on cell, we may be able to meet somewhere on the mountain. Main road into mountain.
We tend to run trails till sundown and then head back to camp.
I will drop my stuff off at the campsite and see where folks are at.
I will send you a PM for exchange of phone numbers.

I have that covered, I can use my phone with my echolink app and talk to folks anywhere in the world.

Gecko is 98% wheelable but 100% ready for the trailer. I think I'm just going to wait for a second body to assist with a quick brake bleed Friday morning. Tow rig and trailer are connected and poised for loading. Hopefully my batteries stay charged enough to crank it again tomorrow. Found out tonight that there's some serious draw coming from something even when the truck is off - like somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 amps worth! So Y'all help me remember to always pull the negative cable off every time I park it.

Probably won't be hitting the road til later tomorrow evening as I still have yet to put a bag together, but the mattress in the sleeper cab, and assemble food, cooking and camping equipment. So don't wait up for me! haha

Not a peep today???
Anyone on the road yet? I'm still at work. :(

I just talked to my dad Ted and him should be there in about a half an hour. Sid and Adam are an hour or so behind them.

Heres the latest from the Dog Camp--- I shipped my Tools out to Marks Offroad for my upcoming trip and I have no spare tire (Long Story) on the 40.

My Kid got a Job so I have to run my sister-in-law to the airport Friday around noonish. Bottom line I'll get to camp Friday night at this point and plan to wheel on easy street with the wagon guys. Dog out

Well, i am most likely gonna have to bow out on this trip. I had to stay home with little bit a couple of days last week which has me a little behind at work so I couldn't get off tomorrow and probably won't be getting off too early, so a late night drive up is probably not going to be in the cards. Plus I have a bunch of Zuk parts coming tomorrow and given my track record I need to try to get them thrown at it since the weather is supposed to be nice.

I know you will miss my size 10 Nikes, but try to have a good time:flipoff2: I hope to get to wheel with you guys soon.

I'm sitting at the airport in Orlando waiting for my flt. To Knoxville airport. Something strange about vacation; my back feels better, my muscles are loose and relaxed, more than usual and I'm nicer to TSA at the airport than usual. Oh yeh the question How am I getting to wind rock?? YELlOW CAB!! Heck I'll walk if I need to. I don't want anyone going out of there way. BUt if your passing by TYS (Knox airport) at around 10:15am this morning and see a guy with an orange pull over giving you a" thumbs-up" cuz you drive a cool as heck Toyota. Give him a ride to wind rock. Dominick

Sorry guys, but something has come up with work and I am going to have to pass on this trip. Dang.....

BOO-YEH this place is amazing, eating lunch at my campsite. Overlooking the mountains. I'm rl ready thinking of my next trip to windrock. Spectacular...

Hey Dannyp parked my yellow fj40 right next to the gravel rd should be easy to find even at night. Park next to it. There's a spot for your tent next to the picnic table.
