I just ordered the Procar Elite from Summit. Unfortunately, they are back ordered 'til the 23rd so I'll have to wait a few weeks 'til I get them installed. When I do, I'll take some pics and hope that install is as easy as I've read in other posts!

I am in the process of installing new seats in my wagon. Especially after a 6 hour ride, my ass muscles were killing me. I sat in the Corbeau Moab seats and they were very comfy and they look nice too. While searching the Corbeau website, I discovered that they make mounting brackets for the FJ60. Just a suggestion.

But those seats from Iron Pig look very good as well.

WOW... now those look great Flanders!! Mind divulging cost (with shipping/tax) to you and how long it took you to install? Which version did you end up getting with which add-ons (if any).

$517 for 2 seats
$12.95 shipping
$19.00 over size charge
$602.95 total.

No add ons for the seats and they are the "standard" ProCar Elite. Scat/Procar 80-1100-54L - Scat Elite Series 1100 Seats - Overview - SummitRacing.com

The installation was a breeze:
1. Remove the old seats (4 bolts per seat)
2. Remove the slide bars from the old seats (4 bolts per seat)
3. Bolt the old slide bar to the new seats (super easy and they are sized exactly the same)
4. Put the new seats back in, 4 bolts per seat and done!

Wow is right... and the velour (cloth) seats are $100 additional!

That is not bad at all for those seats and they look great. Guess that will be something to add to the list of things to do since 90% of the cruisers out there have the ripped seats. Also glad to hear that they swap in so easily, no extra money needed to be spent on adapters and what not.

Thanks for posting the pics and the details.....I've got to get some new seats too, especially the drivers. My truck is tan as well so looks like a good match, but comfort outweighs color.

Whats your take on the comfort level...etc?

got the seats the other day and installed them this morning. They were super easy to install, look great and are very comfortable!

Damn those look really good. Since you're using the stock sliders, I take it you don't gain any more footspace over stock? How is the ride height compared to the OEM seats? When I did my Mazda seats with the first set of brackets they sat way too high (about 4" or so higher than OEM) and when I made new brackets it put them about 1.5-2" higher. Big improvement, but my main reason for the Mazda seats is that they gained me a TON more legroom in the front thanks to long sliders.

My Smitty seat went down and back about one in

Leg room seems about the same as does the ride height... Maybe I'm sitting a little bit higher but it's hard to tell since the original seat had a pronounced "lean" to the left!

As for comfort... They definitely are FIRM! My other car is 2010 Audi A4 and I thought those seats were firm. I did about a 2 hour round trip drive last night and although they firm, they are much more comfortable than the original seats. One thing to note. I'm 6' and about 190 and the seats are almost on the tight side. If you're on the big side, the side bolsters would probably make the fit too tight!

bringing back on old thread, has any one ever used Jeep JK seats? I know I just used the Jeep word. Found a good deal on some.

Best seats are the ones that feel good for the right price. The seat rails having to be changed from a different design to fit the Toyota mount holes...after doing this 2 times, i would gladly spend more money for an easy mount swap out. That is worth something. A Good deal isn't always the best. I ended up going with SOR seat bottom replacements. Not super easy to change out, but I wanted a stock look. Haven't sat on them yet since I'm in the middle of my build. But the quality of the foam and design is impeccable.

I would imagine some fabrication work would be in order. But they should physically fit without issues. I have no problem using jeep parts. They are one of the only manufacturers that make true off-road capable machines.
The only thing I dislike about jeeps are the people who tend to buy them, it's a Jeep thing

Canuck may not like me and that's okay. I have an '07 JK Unlimited Rubicon (as well as three 'cruisers) and I have to say that the JK seats suck. They are comfy enough but they have very little in the way of adjustment. The seat backs will move forward but they will not lay down. The headrests feel like plastic-covered bricks. There are better seat choices out there for your 'cruiser.
