would be nice to have a list of bolt on ( or almost ) seat options for 60/62 series ..

Yes, be perfect for the FAQ!

That is nice. Thanks to 2sun62 as well. I like the cloth too. Have the original recovered with $OR and they are quite sturdy but very blah (and my daughter the artist spilled ink all over the passenger seat). Will start looking for some PT Loser seats.

Anybody use corolla seats? I've fund some 2003 corolla seats for next to nothing, but who wants to change seats to have so-so comfort? Lots of work for little reward

While they look REALLY GREAT... $300 each? I guess it is time vs money. The Scion seats took a bunch of time to engineer into the 60, these take a bunch of money...

I bought mine about three years ago and if I remember right, I think I paid under $300 for both seats. At the time, I remember thinking how reasonably priced they were.

The bolt in aspect of the Iron Pig seats is nice. I don't know if I would want to make my own seat brackets and all that is in volved with it. The Toyota brackets work pretty good.

I have Smitty Bilt Contour seats that bolt right in and are super compfy. I can get them at work for a good price for anyone wanting some just PM me

I posted a few back about corolla seats. They work. Wasn't easy, but they are mounted and feel great. I took lots of pictures. Will post I when I have time to organize them and make sense of it.

Got a set of dark grey manual leather Volvo S40 seats from Santa.. Will get the install started when I have more time. But 3 of the 4 holes line up perfect now, so a little mod of a piece of angle iron and they will be in.

Those are gorgeous!! Me want me want!

Nice!! Can't find any that cheap on eBay right now... :(

4Runner Seats

The PO put in 2nd or 3rd gen 4Runner seats in to my 62. I love them - great support, material matches.

I think they are bolt on through 3rd Gen.

I wanted to keep the factory look and cloth so I had my front / rear seats completely re-stuffed. For the front ones, the bolster area where the vinyl was cracked, was replaced with a new piece of brown vinyl/piping. It looks factory! With the new cushions, the seats are very comfortable.

I just got back over new years sitting in the truck for 14hrs from Las Vegas back to the SF Bay area (traffic was horrible). Very comfortable the whole way.
